Hey all! I’m a child of the 80’s (like many of you, I’m sure) that has gotten into toy collecting over the past several years. I’m a fan of the original ThunderCats show/toys and well as the modern show/toys. I’m also a He-Man, Silverhawks, M.A.S.K., and Transformers fan.
My kids (7 & 9) have watched all of the original episodes of ThunderCats and we all wait anxiously each week for the new series episodes to come out and watch them together =o)
I have mixed feelings about Bandai at the moment… I’m very happy with what they’ve put out for us, but I’m sad about the line being discontinued. Hopefully someone else will pick it up and we’ll get more great figures.
As for toys, I collect TC, He-Man, Batman, and anything else that catches my eye or that looks awesome. I love prototypes/first shots/test shots/pre-retail figures. The current prize of my collection is a first shot prototype of the 6" Bandai Tygra figure. A close 2nd is the Arkham Asylum Bane figure. I don’t have any Silverhawks or M.A.S.K. toys anymore, but I’m looking to start collecting them.
I’m joining this forum for two main reasons. 1.) I love talking ThunderCats, 80’s, and toys - and it looks like you all do too =o) 2.) I’d like to build my toy collection and help other fans build theirs as well. This looks like a great trading spot =o)
