So I recently bought the Classic series 2 Lion-O. You know the one with the screaming face. I hate how the figure is small. It looks out of place compared to the other classic figures. Mummra is atleast closer to series 1 size but still a lil small. I hate that they made them smaller, what was wrong with the original size they used for series 1?
Anyone else agree?
I was hating on it before I got it. Now that I have it and have had some time to give it a good look over it’s not so bad. I’m not minding the difference in size as much as I thought I would also. I don’t think the angry face suits Lion-O however, or it could have been better designed. I don’t plan on taking any of my NS figures out of the box but I can see where the angry face would work in certain poses.
My gripe would be if Bandai released the same figure(s) in a different scale. (I prefer the 8" over the 6" btw) Rather then release the same figure in two different scales they could be using that amount of time / resources to make other classic figures imo.
I think the size is a bit small and I REALLY wish they would have just stuck with the 8". But I do really like the new ****ed off face.

and if you dont like the 6in figures, then simply dont buy them. the 8in line is continuing, so what is the point of all this rage?
I receiver the 6 inchers yesterday and love them!
They’re supposed to look out of place. The first Classics were on an 8 inch scale, and the new ones are on a 6 inch scale. Bandai has made a new scale change.
Lion-O looks perfect next to other 6 inch scaled figures, and the 6 inch Classics Mumm-Ra looks horrible next to the 8 inch figures.
If you don’t like the 6 inch figures, then don’t buy them. They’re going to continue making 8 inch figures anyway, so just buy those instead.
I like them but don’t like how they changed the size. I thought they did away with the 8" line also.
no. in the announcement in which the 6in line was first introduced, they clearly stated that the 8in line would be continuing, with Cheetara coming soon
They said they will continue the 8 inch in a limited capacity whatever that means. Most have speculated as con exclusives. I doubt these will show up in retail stores which is a bummer. I bet we see images of Cheetara at ToyFair in February. Just have to wait and see. :liono
I believe they said they were gonna sale them online or something. Definitely won’t be in retail stores.
I also loathe the new lion-o face, I mean when is Bandai gonna do something right? 
Well a lot of people complained about the very plain face on the 8 inch Lion-O, so they decided to add some expression in the face of the new Lion-O, which I actually love. I do wish there were alternate heads though (or alternate faces like Bandai Japan does).
I am shrinking the 8 inch head, just need to get the right size for recasting!
