Saw it tonight. It was ok. There was nostalgia to it which was nice, nice seeing some faces again like Madam Sprout. Loved the scene where the statues came to life. Loved McGonagall’s comment about always wanting to do that spell.
Loved the Malfoy’s in this. Loved how the dad chose to run with his family at the end and get away.
Loved the scene in the Room of Requirement and the rescuing of Malfoy and his friend.
Loved what Harry decided to do with the Elder Wand at the end.
Loved Neville coming into his own.
The 19 years in the future bit, I thought they made Harry and Ginny look a little too old. The sentiment was nice and I’m glad they put in the bit where Harry looks and sees Draco.
I didn’t like Molly when she killed Bellatrix. Granted Bellatrix got what she deserved, but I didn’t like the change in Molly’s personality for that.
I didn’t like how they once again downplayed Ginny’s role.
I loved Snape’s memory.
I didn’t like how Harry didn’t go over and stand in front of his dad when he appeared.
I didn’t like the explanation that Harry earned the elder wand because he disarmed Draco. He didn’t disarm the elder wand from Draco. Doesn’t make sense.
I would have liked to have seen more of the twins and would have liked to have seen the surving twin’s initial reaction.
