Not really easy to find any TC weapon or accessory loose, but when you do it’s more often in various lots rather than by them selves. I’ve actually seen Ben Gali’s hammer more than Panthro’s nunchuks (not broken) or Cheetara’s bo staff. Tygra’s whip shows up every now and than but nooooooooot alot. Then there’s Pumyra’s sling and Lynx-O’s shield where I’ve only seen the shield loose once I think. Most other weapons are fairly more common to find or more common to find complete with figure.
Even though the last of the figures released in the line are considered to be the hardest I’d have to say Chetara’s bo staff. I WAN’T ANOTHER ONE!!
I would agree that Cheetara’s staff is hard to find but on my list it ranks number 5 or so with the Astral Moat Monster wings at number one followed by Lynx-o’s shield and Rataro’s silver daggers with the eyes.
Ben-gali’s hammer does come up quite a bit. I think that people see the value of this and just sell the hammer without Ben-gali thinking they will get more for it, but I think Ben-gali complete will fetch a price of at least 20 dollars more than just the hammer.
In my 6 years of collecting Thundercats, I’d have to say that Pumyra’s sling seems to be the hardest weapon to find loose complete, then followed by Lynx-o’s shield.
and I’d say the easiest to find are Lion-o’s weapons and accessories, with Ssslithe’s axe being a close second.
I have never come across Pumyra’s sling, Jagas helmet or Bengali’s hammer, however did get my Lynx-O shield in a lot of loose weapons. I do own 2 Pumyras both with her sling (ones for sale by the way), but had to buy a complete Bengali in order to get his hammer.
I have pretty much come across every other weapon (thats how I completed most of my figures) except for Cheetara’s staff which I had to trade for. I even had a set of Astral moat monster wings (which I recently sold).
I’d say Pumyra’s sling hands down…followed by Lynx O’s shield
Oddly enough, I recently picked up a misc. accessory lot that had a Lynx-O shield as well as a Bengali hammer. I knew the shield was in their, but the hammer was an added bonus. Have to agree with Pumyra’s sling.
Yeah Pumyra’s Sling is the hardest one no doubt and another that I have seen being very rare is Jaga’s Helmet.
pumyras sling and lynx o shield are hard, think its only a matter of time before reproduction weapons come out, like it has star wars and motu figures.
Then well have the task of spotting a real bengali hammer from a fake one! what do you think? has anyone come across any repro thundercats stuff?

…ive got an astral moat but ive got no wings, ive only ever seen one left wing for sale on e bay in the last few years, i know its not a permanent answer but would be good for now.:mummra:
There are repro Bengal hammers out there. It is very hard to tell in a picture but easy when put next to an actual hammer.
I’m glad someone brought this up because now I have the Rainbow Toys Bengali I just won on Ebay, I can confirm that there is a variation in colour with the hammer.
The eastern Europe hammer (mine is on a German card) is a darker blue than the USA/UK one. The LJN/Rainbow is a lighter blue. I will try to make some comparison pics sometime or I’ll just put them straight on to the site depending on what I have time to do.
Just thought I’d mention this so you guys know and don’t go thinking that the darker blue hammer is a custom made weapon.
