There is no chronology, all pieces of my collection are ranged in “boxes” in the attic of my parents. Unfortunately, I don’t have a special room in my home to “show and range” all of it. But my son really like to go to this Attic. And you know surely, why. :slight_smile:

2011, reboot of the Thundercats Show. Bandai propose new figures for it and a Classic Line. Perfectible it is sure but I prefer that at nothing.

HachimanFR, those are some great pics! I may be in the minority, but I am a big fan of the Bandai line. Are you going to be collecting the variant packaging without the names printed on them also?

I love too this toys line but I’m very disappointed by the choices of Bandai to relaunch the classic line and change the scale.
The 8 inch was a good choice and the “material” to do these 2 figures was of quality.
Ok, There were two small problem about the paint job for wrists and pegs but the absolut, those figures are cool.
The 6 inch scale didn’t correct the problem of the paint job and have a problem with “proportions” of the body of Lion-O.
His face is different ok, but it 's not perfect and motionless. If they put in the box 2 heads why not.
The final quality of this figure is not cool in comparaison with the 8inch…but the price is almost the same ? What’s the **** ?
Secondly, You got Mumm-Ra ok. Where are the accessories ? No cape, no sword nothing ? pfff..

To answer your question, if i have an opportunity to buy these figures with variant packaging for a low price, why not…but it’s not a priority.
But, I’d really like to have another Lion-O 8inch for customise him…maybe for my next birthday :slight_smile:

I agree with much of what you said about the Bandai Classics line. The change in scale was a big issue. I am actually happy with either size, but would have much preferred additional characters as opposed to multiple sizes of Lion-O.

Hi,

adssse, the two scales are cool and I really like, in general, Action figure at 6" scale.

But, in the case of Thundercats Classics 6" scale line, the final product could be better. :frowning:

Those are some great high quality scans HachimanFR! Thanks for sharing them. I would have really liked to see some of those unreleased figures and vehicles come to market!

Me too! When the 2011 series was announced, I was so hopeful that they would also produce the unproduced figures and vehicles from the LJN line. Alas it wasn’t meant to be! :frowning:

That would have been outstanding! There is so much more we should have seen from that Bandai lineup, both classic and modern.

Maybe, you can have this toys if you can print them with a 3D printer ?

But for that, you must have a perfect “3d designer” and much money…

It is too expensive for the moment. But in a few years, maybe ?
