Growing Sword Lion o

I am planning on creating a custom growing sword Lion O (prototype) and was checking in if anyone has any details of how it worked. Any detail will be helpful.

I think you should use elements from the LJN and Icon Heroes Lion-O figures to create the figure that you want it to be.

I could be wrong but I believe the prototype growing sword Lion-O worked similar to the old Kenner Star Wars figures with lightsabers.
The blade pushed into the arm of the figure and could be pulled out to extend the blade.

you know i probably might have that figure MOC. Not a big star wars collector though.

It’s not going to be an easy custom to make.
