I go by Lynxia on this forum, Tess everywhere else (ain’t revealin’ my real name on the Interwebs XD). Lynxia is my OC for ThunderCats, but I don’t RP with anyone but one of my friends on AIM. I’m always hesitant to share any stories I might write too (mostly I write them for my own pleasure, not anyone else’s )

Been a long time fan of Thundercats and the new series has rekindled and intensified that love. I’m also into Transformers, I particularly like G1, Animated, and the new Prime series. I’m a huge anime fan too. Current favorites are Bleach, Durarara, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I am a convention-goer and cosplayer…though I tend to stick to Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh.
Oh, fave TC Chars: Lion-O, Lynx-O. Really all of them but those two in particular.

Ah, Texas…someplace I’d like to go visit again. Went to El Paso for the Women’s National Bowling competition a year or so ago and had a blast. I have a good friend and some family who lives in Texas (forget which parts though >_<) and would love to see more of it. One day. When I have money. Wait, strike that, when I have a steady paying job. (Substitute teachers only get paid per day they sub unfortunately)
I wouldn’t visit the part of Texas I am at, at least not now, haha. Record droughts and heat, its been 98+ and heat indices of 105+ for the last month and we usually have 100% humidity.
But other than that, Texas has almost everything, rural areas, big cities (some of the biggest in the country), forests, beaches, hill country, deserts, hiking, big rivers, some great fishing and hunting if you are into that sort of thing… and lots of TCAT Fans! haha
Ah yeah I think I’ll stay away from the humidity for a while. It’s been hot and humid enough up here…ugggh. The AC has been my best friend.
I’d love to meet some TCAT fans in real life…maybe once I have money I’ll go to a convention outside of Tekko. I do have plans to go to BotCon in 2013 possibly if I can get everything arranged…and depending on how far away it is. That’s the one thing that sucks about living where I do…all the GOOD cons are on the other side of the country >_<

I also like anime, been a long time since I last watched Bleach. Yoruichi was my favorite. But most of all, I tend to like to watch comedy animes.
Already am. And lynxes are awesome :D…I’ve always liked them even before Thundercats (though maybe they had a subtle influence? Hee hee)
As for Deliverance jokes, the movie and book actually took place in Georgia. But WV just has to be the butt of jokes because we’re “backwards.” I hate the stereotypes, though I proudly admit I love to walk around barefoot—but own tons of shoes (I almost need my own closet for them :oops: ) Well, it’s true we don’t keep up with the latest trends all the time, but we’re happy, and the majority of us are nice people.
I keep up with the manga of Bleach mainly, though I’ve been watching the eps on Adult Swim solely for the fact I’ve been dying to see Yumichika fight Charlotte Cuulhorne. I’ve watched a lot of animes, and currently I’m trying to find the time (and patience…I can’t sit still sometimes) to watch Cowboy Bebop.
And I’m already having fun here.
EDIT: Actually when designing Lynxia I took some designs from Lynxana. I was so psyched to find out they designed a female lynx years ago. I may post pics later on my DevArt site…once I can get around to it (procrastinators unite…later)

So, telling from the fact that you like Lion-O and Lynx-O, are you a Lynxia/Lion-O shipper with having Lynx-O as a relative…perhaps an uncle or daughter? I’m rather intrigued by this.
I used to be a Lion-O/Lynxana shipper till one fandom jerk ruined it for me telling me Lion-O was really a 12 year old in the brain. UGH, there goes all of my old fan art LOL.

But you’re right. WV does tend to get a bad rap. I had an aunt - recently passed away - who was from there. And she told me it was a pretty nice place to live. So once again, welcome!

I’ve been re-working Lynxia’s character as of late so that something works, though going with the OS I think I had her being a childhood friend…can’t remember. Definitely overhauling her personality for the 2011 series and making her completely different. The 2011 series made me remember her and now it’s a matter of digging through old files (what didn’t get wiped out from my weird tendency to obliterate motherboards and/or get infected with like a million viruses…though now I have a very good anti-virus.)

Yeah WV really isn’t a bad place to live, I’ll probably live here until I die…but we’ve always been given a bad rap. …And I’ll resist going into a lecture about all that. My degree is in Secondary Education–Social Studies. It’s hard to suppress the teacher side of me at times.
