Greetings all!
Glad to be on board! While I am probably just as enthusiastic about Thundercats as all of you, I’m probably closer to a Thunderran Elder than a cub… being a 50+year old SF/comics fan (with a very understanding wife!), so I am probably a LOT older than most of you.
While Thundercats premiered on TV originally for me a few years after I had graduated college, I found an instant attraction to it. The style was like the stuff that I grew up on (Herculoids, Space Ghost etc…) but with a richer mythology than I had ever experienced before (lightning struck twice when I had discovered the original Masters of the Universe tv show as well a few years earlier).
To make a long story short, I “adopted” both the Thundercats and the MOTU worlds even though I was not its target demographics (being a 60’s/70’s kid, rather than an 80’s kid). I “collected” the original line back in the day as opposed to getting them for birthday/holidays.
BTW, in the “real world”, I’m a transplanted Big City New Englander now living in a small WV/KY border town, married for 14 years to a VERY understanding wife (who shares my love for things Thunderran and Eternian) and I’m a Sr. Mgt / MIS consultant.
And, if this post is any indication, I can ramble on quite easily (perhaps being talkative is a normal part of my Jewish heritage).
Anyway, longwinded or not .. I’m glad to be on board…

It’s so cool you got into the property later as I bet you remember much more about watching the cartoon and finding the toys at retail 
I think I speak for most fans who wish they could go back in a time machine to see how the toys looked on store shelves again!
