Hi fellow Thundercats fans,
So nice to be part of this forum. I’ve been stopping by here for some time now, and thought let’s just register already ;). Yes, my name has Wolf in it, but rest assured, this dog is well capable of making friends with cats :D, as I happen to own a pet cat.
Ever since they announced new series, I’ve been coming on this site almost regularly to check up on updates and any news piece that comes out.
A little about me now. I like stories. In any form; movies, books, cartoons, and video games. Watching/ listening to or reading good stories is something I have a passion for. Thundercats, though a bit childish now, still resonates with the child in me. I like them for their great settings, characters, and for the terrific blend of different genres such as fantasy and science fiction. Of course, music is one of the high-lights of the series. I sure hope we get an OST CD of it. I’m not into Thundercats toy collection, as they are bit restricted for my taste and sculpts are not very well done. I like the statues though, but they are out of my price range I’m afraid. I would, however, like Hot Toys to take a shot at Thundercats. Besides myself I can’t say anyone else in my family is that into Thundercats, especially my younger brother. He always has a laugh listening to colorful enemies in Thundercats. According to him, they speak in a funny manner.
On subject of enemies. Mumm-Ra is one of my favorites besides Megatron from Beast Wars/Machines. I think he has potential to be the darkest villain in cartoon history. I mean look at him, he is in cahoots with evil spirits, his existence is beyond death, if that’s not scary I don’t know what is. I think in the new show, they should use Mumm-Ra sparingly and make him bit more darker.
Anyways, I hope to get to know some of you.
