Greetings everyone. Tygirl here joining the ranks of Thundercats fans. Heard there was a new Thundercats series coming soon and had to check out the buzz when I found this site.
I became a fan back in '85 when I was a 16 so I’m a bit older than most and I hope you don’t mind an oldie but goldie joining the fun.
I’ve always been a fan of big cats, 'specially of them tigers (grrrrrr), so Tygra is my favorite. I have fond memories of coming home from school and spending time with my granny who used to watch the the show with me. LOL. I wouldn’t say she was a fan too but I know she must have liked the show because she never made me change the channel.
So now days I’m a little older and still love my Thundercats. I just spent the last week catching up on the old episodes, can’t believe I had forgotten so much. Granny has gone on before us but my new viewing buddy is BVP (Black Velvet Pimperchicken). BVP is my cat Tommy who’s got an attitude as big as Mumm-ra. (I saw him eye-balling Panthro the other day and I told him to forget it, he’s not big enough to even try.)
Anyway, glad to be here and I look forward to having some fun.
Why thank you, I’m glad you like it. I think it’s gggrrrrrrrreat. Oh wait, that’s Tony another one of my faves…even though he’s a little flakey. Ok, after catching up with a bunch of Thundercat episodes I’m now telling corny jokes like Panthro. LOL
Welcome to the board and I was about the same age as you when the original series came out.
I’ve always loved cats, fantasy and great storytelling, which is what drew me to it in '85. I’d watch an episode just before I had to leave to take tap & jazz dance lessons.
Hi Tygirl, sorry for not welcoming you earlier as this site is just so busy with new posts lately since the new Thundercats series is about to start, the “new posts” quickly get cluttered up.
I always welcome a new batch of Thundercat fans. It’s always so refreshing to see new faces around here. I’m just another Tcat fan that grew up in the 1980’s.
