I just got through commenting on the Thundercats tee thread Purssia started and thought I might share my personal favorite 80s tees of sites I’ve found as I’ve put a number of these on my Christmas list this year. One thing that I find “wrong” with the whole t-shirt business though is too many shirts are only offered in either black or white. That’s fine for most people out there, but I really don’t like wearing either black or white tees, so this list is primarily a list of what I feel are the best combination of shirt color and design for each property out there. Feel free to comment on it

Transformers (Note - biggest disappointment is the lack of finding a cool Megatron shirt. Even though Thundercats is my all time favorite 80s show, Megatron is my all time favorite 80s character. There were some that I would have bought if they’d been on a grey shirt, but the best designs I saw were on black shirts)

Optimus Prime shield (Note - this shirt is sold out everywhere and its my favorite Transformers shirt I’ve ever found. I’m so ticked I didn’t buy this as I thought it would still be around. - Castle Grayskull (I never have been one for grey t-shirts, but when I saw this the combination of the design and the shirt really was over the top and honestly I think this is the best combo of the design and color for this shirt. Thundercats
Mumm-Ra (This shirt is on here be default as I really didn’t like any of the other designs of any of the Thundercats shirts I found, but again I hate that its only on a black shirt. That’s it, that is the best of the best in my opinion of what you’ll find out there for people that want to wear something other than black (except where noted). There’s a few others I have but I’m sticking to just the 80s shirts here, and just the 4 big cartoon shows.
