I’m going to be having surgery later today (Wednesday), currently just after midnight. It’s nothing too major, more of a preventative maintenance than anything.
Anyway, just thought I’d let everyone know. Wish me luck.

About 2 years ago, i went through a serious knee surgery after suffering a ruptured tendom during a soccer match. Man, the operation lasted for almost 5 hours and the waking up process from anesthesia, as you mentioned, was really difficult! I felt drowsy for a long time too, i wasn’t allowed to drink water and the doctors told me i was mumbling incoherently!

Thanks all. Yep, was pretty quick trip in and out. It is just the recovery time is a pain in the backside. Pain meds kept me drowsy and as such I’m still trying to get back on a normal sleep, eat, etc. pattern. Hope to be back to almost normal in a couple days, week at most.
