Game:What episode did that quote come from?

Season 1 only had the ThunderTank and Feliner. The HoverCat and ThunderClaw were introduced in ThunderCats Ho! Part 1. Mumm-Ra Lives introduced the ThunderStrike. Season “4” introduced the Whisker on new ThunDera; I only remember seeing in 2-3 times.

TCL.ORG encyclopedia images of the vehicles, minus the Whisker, are here: http://www.thundercatslair.org/animated-series/original-series/encyclopedia-index/good-vehicles/

I remember two other vehicles, designed for only one person each. Those were the vehicles Tygra and Pumyra had “the luck” to keep when they were left alone in Third Earth (see Return to Thundera - Part 4, for bifgger references); don’t remember their names though

ETA: thanks for that link mcss. The ones I was talking about were the Thunderclaw and the Hovercat (which Tygra and Pumyra got to keep in Third Earth… of course, it’d have been extremely selfish from the others to take them too. I can imagine that: “Pumyra and Tygra, you two will stay here, with absolutely nothing to do as there are no mutants, lunatacks or any other threat left, bored to death, each of you alone in one of our two huge, solitaire, terrifying buildings… oh, and no vehicles for you either” lol).

I think the one CoT referred to was the Thunderstrike.

The Flagship and Thuinderian ship were the ones showed in “Exodus”, right?

Correct, the ThunDerian ships were destroyed by the Mutants. The Flagship is the one that crashed on Third Earth carrying the ThunderCats.

And yes, the ThunderStrike is the one that can split into 3 parts.

Merged Post:

Ok, so it has to be one of the final 20 episodes to include the Whisker. Something about the other vehicle would give it away? The only flying vehicle that has a dedicated pilot is the ThunderStrike with Lynx-O. Kit and Kat each have a hoverboard, so it would be a 50% chance on those.

So, if it is Lynx-O, it would probably be The Touch of Amortis. But I don’t remember anyone flying with him when he left the lair.

Nope, not Touch of Amortus. I guess it wouldn’t give it away to be a bit more specific. I’ll even tell you who said it, since this game is just about guessing the episode.

So, Bengali and the Kittens are in the Whisker, and Panthro and Cheetara are in the ThunderStrike. The way forward is blocked by a giant forcefield. In an earlier scene, Panthro and Cheetara try to blast their way through, and when their shots backfire, Panthro despairs, “Lion-O’s on his own. There’s nothing we can do.” The Kittens hear this over the radio, and Kat says, “We can’t just give in. There must be a way through.” In the next scene, Panthro again despairs, “I hate to sound defeatist, but this is a dead-end street. We’ll never be able to keep airborne in this turbulence.”

return to thundera 5 parter

Yep! It’s from Part 5. Your turn, optimusprime!

unlike those miserable mutants liono ive learned from my mistakes

I’m pretty sure I know that onme, but can’t remember it.

Is it Mumm-Ra when he wore those sun glasses so they couldn’t show him his image? Can’t remember which episode was it, but I think it was one of those where Mumm-Ra “enslaved” all the TCs and Lion-O freed them, he was fighting Mumm-ra in the forest, and the others came and held him, so Lion-O took off the glasses and showed him his image.

Maybe “Dream Master” (don’t think so), or “The Mumm-Ra Berbil”.

I just watched “The Mumm-Ra Berbil” and that’s where it came from.
Here’s my quote:

“The law is the law. And the degree to which it is broken is not the point.”

Hmmm… that’d be my turn then… but being a gentleman, I give it to you

Now, I have no idea where your quote is from

Lynx-O said that in the episode “Side Swipe.” I figured it had to be in a Mandora episode. Took me 3 to find it.

Tygra_Rules, you can have my turn since you had guessed the last answer.

Nah, go on. I’ll have it next time. The important thing is to have fun

Actually, it wouldn’t have bothered me at all. But here we go…

“I will not rest until I have both my sword and my honor back.”

That’s Hachiman.

What I’m not sure about is the episode he said it. I think it’s “Hachiman’s Honor” (because of the “honor” in the title and the quote, and because in that one Chilla steals his sword).

You got it!

Ok, here’s mine. It’s kinda easy, so to get it, you’ll have to a) say who said it, b) to whom, c) who the character saying it was talking about (what word does the XXX substitue).

“Nice, kitty, be nice, or I’ll make your XXX friend into a rug”.

Safari Joe said it to Cheetara about Tygra in the episode Safari Joe. I believe he said “tiger friend.”

That’s right!

And yes, he did say “your tiger friend” (but it would have sold it, right?).

Actually, what I changed what I first wrote in brackets. It first said: “d) what’s the word the XXX substitutes (it’s not a character’s name, but either the clan the character belongs to in the series, or the animal it’s based on in real life)”… but that would have given it away even easier

Your turn.

“Now for vampire mermaid!”

Lion-O in “Turgamar the Tuska”.

A siren tries to bite Tygra but he was awakened by Cheetara; he falls to the sea. Cheetara goes after him, and Lion-O after the siren. He swims and fights somthing that looked like a cross beetween a sea snake and a sting ray, and after trapping it in a submarine cave, he says “Now for vampire mermaid”.

BTW, I see in this episode another small hint of Tygra’s addictive personality (or at least his vulnerability against/towards external stimuli) as he was the only one seduced by the siren’s song.
