Game: ThunderCat Trivia

I’d clean forgotten that it was my turn! I thought I’d set something and nobody had been able to think of an answer! (Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve derailed these threads that way!)

OK. List all the episodes where we see characters in some kind of spiritual realm.

I’d completely forgotten that I’d set the question and my verdict was required!

All the answers I’ve seen look good to me, so Zax, your turn!

I’d forgotten, too! Time for a new question…

In what episodes does Panthro open the ThunderTank’s trunk (boot), and what does he find inside?

Was it “The Crystal Queen” when he finds Snarf stowed away in it?

Definitely Snarf, and I think you’re right about the episode too. I’m just trying to think if something similar happens in “Fond Memories”?

Snarf in “The Crystal Queen” is correct, and there’s definitely one more example. I’m not sure about “Fond Memories”, but it doesn’t ring a bell.

That was my option yesterday when I read the question, but I thought I was wrong :frowning:

Is the second answer “Time Switch”? Towards the end I believe Panthro opens the boot to get Emergency Sea Ration/Biscuit to lure the infant Lion-O into the Cave of Time.

I can’t remember - I was thinking about Snarf chasing after Panthro in the tank, I wasn’t sure if he actually jumped into the boot or simply caught up with him.

That’s the one! You got both answers, Wilycub. You’re up!

Thanks, zax! Boy, it’s getting tough to come up with new questions, but I managed to get one.

Name the characters who are mentioned in the cartoon but never actually appear on-screen ever.

Also the group from Blue Plundarr that sent Scrape to pull the oceanic plug in Dr. Dometome
Ancient third earthers who first defeated the Rock Giant originally. Explained to Lion-O by Jaga

Tell me about it! But this is a great question. Let’s see…

  • Snarf’s Aunt Esmeralda
  • The Galaxy Governor (mentioned by Mandora)
  • The Kali of Venus (mentioned by QuikPik)
  • Monkian’s tree-dwelling “source”
  • Baron Karnor (not sure if that counts as we actually got to see his skull)

Great answers guys! There’s still quite a few more correct answers. So it’s still anybody’s game!

Tygra_Rules: I’m sorry my friend, but I don’t think that Baron Karnor qualifies as a correct answer. We did see his corpse. My question was characters who are never shown, living or dead. As I mentioned, there are still quite a few left so don’t give up!

Zax: Thanks, sir! I’m glad you liked the question. Out of all the “unseen” characters mentioned in the cartoon, Monkian’s “source” was always the one I was most curious about! When I first saw the episode (Trial of Speed), I thought that perhaps the source was one of the Warrior Maidens or one of the ThunderCats in disguise and they purposely wanted the Mutants to interfere in the Trials so as to really test Lion-O.

Considering all the secrecy surrounding the trials, I’d like to know who Monkian’s source was and how they found out in the first place?

I can think of at least 10 more correct answers. Don’t give up just yet guys!
