Game: ThunderCat Trivia

OK. With my lack of season 2 knowledge, it was my best guess. I’ve been looking at the episode list, and it’s difficult to see an episode that features an evil race as such. My best guess now is the Hogmen from “Mandora: The Evil Chaser” - but I can’t say what season 2 episode they might appear in.

It turns out that this question isn’t as easy as you initially thought, Mongor.

I’m not sure about this, but was it the Rockmen?

It’s funny because my college students tell me the same thing. I make an exam with questions I think are easy but they find them difficult.

It’s not the Rockmen.

The crabmen? I’m guessing now.

That was gonna be my guess too. Definitely a stumper this one.

The only character I can think of that went from bad to good is Quickpick.

You didn’t answer my second guess of those hoglike creatures that capture Lion-O, Mandora and Quickpick in “Mandora: The Evil Chaser” - according to the review, they’re called Mudhogs. But I couldn’t guess at a season 2 episode.

Sorry I missed your post LiamABC, it must was late when I was reading the forums. I actually read the boards here when I need a break from correcting final exams. In any case, it’s not the Mudhogs. I don’t think they are in season two.

A little hint…think of a very early season episode.

Is it the Trollogs?

IF it’s either the Trollogs or the Giantaurs, they both appeared in later season 1 episodes after their initial appearance in “Berbils”, so your phrasing the question as

“Which species/creatures appear as villains in a season one episode but identical ones appear in a season two show as good creatures?”

Would be somewhat misleading, as the Trollogs appeared in “Eye Of The Beholder” and a Giantaur had a part in “Divide And Conquer”. Both of these were clearly on the villains’ side admittedly, but still . . .

Not the Trollogs or Giantors…the season one appearance is within the first ten episodes.

There is no connection between the creatures in the season one episode with the season two episode; they just look alike.

Is it Crows? There was an evil crow in “Terror of Hammerhand” and in Season 2 we are introduced to Crownan in “The Circus Train” who is a good crow.

Not the crows or Terror of Hammerhand.

I think I’ve got it! You said “within the first ten episodes”, and we’ve eliminated many answers from those episodes already. The only thing left that I can think of is the stone Gargoyles in “The Tower Of Traps” - but I couldn’t tell you what the season 2 episode is.

It is the gargoyles. In season 2, they help Sondora guard the Sound Stones.

You’re up LiamABC.

OK, I thought of this one at the ready this morning, then had to remember it now!

Only one weapon on the Thundertank was given a formal name. What is its name, who said it, and in which episode?

Is it the stellarator laser? Panthro uses it against Mongor (me :)) who calls it “light entertainment.”

That wasn’t what I was thinking of, but here (as with a few other questions I’ve posed here!) I’m willing to admit that there may be more answers than the one I can remember, so keep 'em coming!

I believe in “Mandora the Evil Chaser”, Tygra refers to the rear cannon as the Catblaster.

That’s the one I was thinking of. That actually had a proper “name”, rather than some technical one.

Zax, you’re up next!

Okay, here we go.

A nifty PlunDarrian innovation, the SkyCutter’s landing gear is built into its wings! In what episode do we see the landing gear transform for another purpose, and what is that purpose?
