Thank you!
Ok, here’s my question:
Name all the instances in which a ThunderCat rides/climbs into the driver’s seat of a villain’s vehicle. Name the ThunderCat, the vehicle and the episode.
Good luck all!![]()

[li]Lion-o rides in Slithe’s submarine in “Snarf Takes Up the Challenge”[/li][li]Tygra rides Vultureman’s flying machine in "Out of Sight[/li][/ul]
The Kittens fly a SkyCutter in “The Rock Giant”, and Lion-O flies a SkyCutter in “ThunderCats Ho! Part 3”, I think.
That’s the one I knew I was missing! Lion-o flying the skycutter, and Tygra just about to blow him up with his laser canyons.
Both of you are correct!
So now we have a tie with both Tygra_Rules and thezaxfactor having given 2 correct answers each. Whoever gives the next correct answer wins (unless someone else can come up with 2 or 3 other answers!).
There is at least one more answer that I had in mind.
If you need a clue, let me know.
Merged Post:
Looks like the final answer is proving to be a tricky one.
I’ll give a clue, the ThunderCat is Panthro. Now the first one to identify the vehicle and the episode, wins! ![]()
Good luck gentlemen!
Toughie. Is it the Lunatakker in “Time Shift”?
I believe you meant, “Time Switch” :). Actually as far as I can remember, no ThunderCat got in the driver’s seat of the Luna Tacker in that episode.
I can only remember one more correct answer but it is very possible that there may be more than one as my memory of the later episodes is rather vague.
Thank-you, I did mean “Time SWITCH” - I couldn’t remember. As I always say, the later series are not my strong point. I’ll have another guess at the episode - was it “The Telepathy Beam”?
I am the same way too!
There are so many episodes in the second season that I have no recollection of at all.
Sorry, that’s not the one either. I’ll give another clue, the answer is an episode in which the Lunataks do not appear at all.
That’s how I am about the latter half of Season 1. I know the episodes exist, but hell if I know exactly what happens in them!
I haven’t checked, so forgive me if these guesses are wrong… ![]()
Your first clue was that it’s Panthro. Does he join Monkian in the driver’s seat of the Fistpounder during their confrontation in “ThunderCats Ho! Part V”? And does he pilot the Vertus into the black hole in “Sword in a Hole”, or does he just give the order?
And on the topic of the Vertus, does Tygra and Cheetara’s sabotaging of the Vertus’s flight in “ThunderCats Ho! Part V” count? They set its course (Cheetara programs it on Tygra’s order), but then abandon ship before it takes off.
That’s the one!
So “thezaxfactor” is the winner. Congrats! Your turn, sir. ![]()
We’re still waiting Zax!
(Especially frustrating for me as I’ve thought of a couple of good questions already!)
Also, can someone please go back into my “CONTINUITY ORDER” thread, I am about 2/3 of the way through trying out this new order, and have issues that need addressing.
Sorry! I’ve gotten a bit caught up in wedding planning lately. Here’s a new question:
What does Mumm-Ra call the principal chamber in his Pyramid (with the sarcophagus, cauldron, and ASOE)?
This one’s tricky, as it’s only named once. I’ll hint at the episode if necessary.
The transformation room? Lol I have no idea.
Is it your wedding you’re planning? If so, CONGRATULATIONS!
Not the transformation room, no. I’ll let a few others take a crack at it before I hint at the episode.
And, yes, it is my wedding! It’s next Saturday, the 31st, and there’s still an awful lot to do.
Good luck there. Speaking as someone whose own love-life has just taken a major nose-dive, you have my deepest envy.
I’ll take a wild guess and say, is it the incantation room/chamber? ![]()
Nope—here’s a hint. Mumm-Ra is talking to the Driller when he mentions the name of the room.
Is it the Throne Room from “Return of the Driller”?
That’s it! I always thought it was odd that he’d call it the Throne Room, since there’s no throne… That’s why it stuck with me, I guess.
You’re up, Wilycub.
