That’s it! It almost seems backwards, though, since I feel like the Ratstar gets more play in Part One, and the Feliner isn’t even operational until the end of Part Two. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

If you don’t mind me asking @thezaxfactor , from where did you learn about this? Was it the title written on the script or was it mentioned in an interview? Just curious as I love such interesting trivia about TCats.

Yeah, it’s the title on a draft of the script. Truth be told, I don’t own a copy, but a list of scripts shared with me years ago listed “Feliner” and “The Ratstar” separately. Now that I think about it, I can’t know with any certainty which was Part One and which was Part Two, but they were definitely sequential in the list.

Very interesting! Thanks for the trivia info. Like others, I felt like Part One really featured the RatStar or I would have guessed that. Since it is totally non-operational in part two, I thought maybe the title woulda gone to the Mutank. Oh well. Speaking of which, do you guys suppose either the Mutank or Ratstar were at any time in development to be a toy? They would’ve been a cool counter to the Thundertank and Feliner.

I always felt the Mutank should have appeared again.
They would have made great toys! I feel like the Ratstar would almost have had to be constructed like a playset, maybe hinged at the rear to open sideways. It’s such an odd shape!
I don’t recall reading or hearing anything official that LJN was planning to make these vehicles, but I agree with you that they would have been awesome!!! :thumbsup LJN made the figures and vehicles in balanced amounts between the good and evil. The ThunderTank, HoverCat and Thunderclaw had their “evil” counterparts the Fistpounder, SkyCutter and NoseDiver. And since we already know that the Feliner and the ThunderStrike were planned to be made, then the RatStar and the Mutank would have made great evil counterparts for them. I always felt (and hoped) that if the line had continued, there might have been a Castle Plun-Darr playset! :geek

Besides Mumm-Rana, what other character invoked the Ancient Spirits of Good, in what episode and for what reason?

That would be Brodo, who invoked the ASOG in “The Astral Prison” to transport Lion-O back to the Third Earth as repayment for Lion-O rescuing him from imprisonment.

Interesting enough, that was the first time the ASoG were ever mentioned, even before Mumm-Rana’s appearece.
I really thought it would have been a little harder for you to get this one…
It was a very good question, TR! I myself had no idea what the answer was. I was trying to think about episodes after “Mumm-Rana”.

New question, pretty easy: Keeping in mind flashbacks of one sort or another, how many characters do we see as Lord of the Thundercats? What are their names? Wanna go for extra credit - what episode(s) show them as Lord of the Thundercats?
Claudus is seen as such in Return To Thundera. If you’re thinking Jaga has the title at some point in the flashbacks from either Thundercubs or The Ghost Warrior, I’m not sure he counts.
If memory serves…Claudus is referred to as “Lord of Thundera”, not specifically only the “Thundercats”, in “Return to Thundera”.
I am thinking of specific instances where characters are referred to as being “Lord of the Thundercats”. Lion-O, of course, is a given.
The ASOE refer to Jaga as Lord of the ThunderCats during the cauldron flashback in “The Jade Dragon”. And Claudis refers to himself as Lord of the ThunderCats during the flashback in “Shadowmaster”.
Also, it doesn’t quite count, but Lion-O tells Tygra in “All That Glitters” that he would become the new Lord if Lion-O didn’t make it out alive. [emoji291]
