:snarf
Oops, sorry, I completely forgot it was my turn!
OK, we’ve just had a question about “Hachiman’s Honor” - which mentions a guest character who had appeared just once in the first season. What other episode title from season 2 does the same?
“Mumm-Rana’s Belt”?
That’s the one! Your turn Tygra_Rules!
Thank you! It came to my mind almost immediately, whih I find strange as Mumm-Rana might be among my least favorite characters in the series.
Ok, Here’s the new question.
Besides Claudus, what other ThunderCat’s relative was mentioned or referred to in the show? (Snarf and his family don’t count).
Could you mean Panthro referencing his mother in “Time Switch”?
That’s it, BB! That scene always made me wonder howthe TCs felt about the destruction of Thundera and losing their families (maybe even having to leave them behind as they got on board of the Royal Flagship, knowing their families were about to perish), and there you had Lion-O whining every twochapters .
Anyway, your turn BB.
I totally agree. The writers did a fair job of having the team behave mournfully whenever the subject of Thundera’s destruction is brought up, but I suppose it was a deliberate choice to not have them dwell on it or go into specifics. Something that heavy could probably work in some cartoons of today, but at the time, I am sure the feeling was that they couldn’t have this new team of action heroes always standing around brooding about their lost loved ones. If ya think about it, its actually sorta shitty that Lion-O is the only one who really gets focus around this area in episodes like “The Time Capsule” and “Return to Thundera” because he clearly states that he doesn’t really even remember Thundera. I feel like that would be much easier to deal with than the burden of memory carried by the other Thundercats. But oh well, whatcha gonna do?
I’ll think up a new question right quick and post it later ![]()
That’s what I have always said!
Lion-O cried and whined about a planet he barely knew and almost did not remember and was so eager to get back, but it wasn’t even that planet! And yet he decided to leave behind two fellow TCs who DID HAVE an attachment to that planetwhen there was no need for that as there were no Mutants, Lunatakc or Mumm-Ra any more (and even where there was some threat to Third Earth, they could get there in tw3o nanoseconds or whatever).
New question -
Name two instances when Mumm-Ra’s cauldron showed scenes from the future instead of the past or present.
If I recall correctly, one of them is “Catfight”, where Mumm-Ra shows Luna a preview of what is to come. ![]()
That is one, yes. Can you name another?
Is it “Ma-Mutt’s Confusion”?
BAM! Yer on fire, Wilycub! Your turn. ![]()
Thanks, BB! Just got lucky really :). Had some vague memories of both episodes.
Here’s new question. Apologies if it’s been asked before:
In which episode do we see Castle Plun-Darr actually unfurling it’s wings?
That’s a really good one!
I can think of about three or four it might be . . .
Trapped?
I only remember that happening in one episode. But I could be wrong. However, it doesn’t happen in “Trapped”. Sorry, Liam.
Lord Of The Snows?
Nope, that’s not it either.
“Fireballs of Plun-Darr?”
