Uh oh! For that matter, Snarfer uses the word in “Mumm-Ra Lives!” when he escapes Alluro’s mesmerizing. “Snarfs never give in! Nope, no sir! Never say die!”
…ah…whoops. That’s not the answer I have. I guessed I missed the Turmagar one because of the context. Which I meant as in for a character to ‘die’ in place of words like ‘destroy’ or ‘perish’.
But if he said it then it’s right and your question
My answer was Helpless Laughter when Panthro says he and Snarf could ‘die’ of laughter
We’ve all been there! The number of trivia questions there have been where someone has one specific episode in mind but there turn out to be several that fit the bill . . .
Yeah, I was just trying to think of something original, and I had been listening for something stronger than the usual ‘destroy’ for a while.
Now as you’ve received multiple correct answers, you need to either set something less ambiguous or pick a winner from the answers given.
Wilycub is the winner. Go for it
Thanks! Ok ,here’s my question:
In “Exodus”, Lion-O says, “Safe is boring!”. In which other episode is this exact same line uttered and by whom?
It’s Wilykit. can’t think of the episode though.
Assuming your answer of Wilykit is accurate, then I’ll guess Dr Dometone for the episode.
I can hear it in Wilykit’s voice in my head, but i can’t place any of the dialogue around it. I think Kit and Kat are told to stay at the lair while the rest go out. Then Kit says the line.
I feel it was said again in the early part of season 1, I’ll have a punt at Mongor
You are right Booshman, it is indeed WilyKit who says the line, but Liam’s guess of Dr. Dometone and Captain Shiner’s guess of Mongor are both incorrect.
I’ll wait for someone to guess the right episode and then maybe post a tie-breaker. ![]()
The Time Capsule?
I think Liam is right. I also think he should get to ask the next question. I gave up the half of the answer i had for free, I believe he has completed the question.
That’s the one! And at Booshman’s request, you are declared the winner. Your up Liam! ![]()
OK, got one.
The Sword Of Omens regularly informs Lion-O if another Thundercat is in trouble. Other than the whole group in “Exodus”, which is the first Thundercat in peril the Sword informs Lion-O of, and in which episode?
Is it Panthro in “The Slaves of Castle Plun-Darr”?
It certainly is! Your turn Booshman!
Ooh that was a good guess then. Luckily I’ve watched Exodus (the VHS version) several times recently. ![]()
Ok here’s one, and try to do it without putting the show on. How many times is Thundercats said in the intro song?
Without watching it, I’ve worked it out at ten.
The singer whispers it once at the start
Lion-O says it once when he does the catchphrase.
The verse has it three times.
Then the chorus goes “Thunder - Thunder - Thunder - Thundercats!” four times.
And the singer whispers it again at the end.
