I just saw where Star Wars Season 4’s 1 hour premiere will be September 16th starting at 8 PM. No new ThunderCats episode that night I guess.

That’s a shame. It’d be nice if they just went ahead with a new episode after the Star Wars premiere. I don’t know how well that show performs, but it sounds like a good lead in.
This is why I never got into star wars and never will. Sorry, it’s boring to me. Even star wars fans I knew was nuts to begin with LOL. There was this one girl that was a major fan that told me she sees and hears ghosts…trust me, avoid star wars fans. The husband is cool but she’s nuts…I really pity him ROFLMAO!
Have to admit, never really been much of a trekkie or starwars fanatic.. It was always terminator, or robocop 1 for me, lol..

I’m sure there are a lot of folks on here who are fans of both ThunderCats and Star Wars…I should know, because I’m one of them! 
First movie I ever saw on the big screen was Star Wars Episode III. 
My passion for ThunderCats burns brighter of the two and I’d much rather have a new episode of ThunderCats on 16th September than not, but trust me, not all Star Wars fans are “nuts”…making generalisations about other fandoms is the path to the Dark Side.

I know several people who say they’ve had ghost encounters, and I would only describe one of them as “nuts”. And believe it or not, I even know a few sane Star Wars fans as well. And then I’ve come across a few Thundercats fans who I would definitely describe as “nuts”. Shocking, I know.
Something I noticed; eight episodes of Thundercats will have aired before September 16. That’s how many episodes will be on the DVD released in October. I wonder if this is just a coincidence, and I pray it isn’t another sign of a hiatus. It would really suck if CN just used Thundercats to tide people over until Star Wars and the other action cartoons started their new seasons and then left it out.

I must admit, with all the fanfare that CN made about the ThunderCats launch, and everything that WB have invested in this, I’d be very surprised if this ended up happening.

Maybne they will change the airing time for TCs that day? They might be evaluating ratings /(which, honestly, seem to eb decreasing and might not be what they expected), and might move it one hour earlier or later, hanging on in the SW 4 premiere.
Aw, c’mon, Lynxana, you know there are over the top fans in just about any fandom. I’ve been heavily active in three online fandoms in the last 14 years (oh wow, has it been that long?!) and I can say for a certainty that it’s not just Star Wars!
Although I do question the taste of anyone who actually likes that er, interesting, holiday special. I watched the Riff Trax version of that and still barely made it through it.
There’s nothing to worry about folks. I was just giving everyone a heads up on this break so it didn’t come as a shock, since there’s probably a lot of people on here that aren’t aware of Cartoon Network’s airing schedules.
I’m hooked on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and of the 3 previous seasons, they have all had the premiere episode for the season be an hour long. Plus 2 of the 3 have had an hour long season finale. And throughout the season they’ll have weeks where they don’t have a new episode. Last season I think they had 4 weeks in a row with no new episodes.
While it is a bummer, it also reduces the number of weeks from one season finale to the following season’s premiere. If they’d only air 1 episode a week, and not have breaks in the middle, there would be about 30 weeks between seasons. Factor in the two double-header nights and it would be 32 weeks between. But this season starts “only” 24 weeks after last season ended, so there were about 7-8 weeks of no new episodes in the middle of last season.
I’m sure ThunderCats will be the same way, which means we can expect other breaks in the season, an hour long season finale, and a slightly shorter break between seasons 1 and 2.
Im also a fan of both but this SW cartoon hasnt picked up my interest, I dont like it that much.
I doubt they will show the 26 Eps in one run. They will probably take a small break.
Clone Wars got boring by Season 2. Having a show with no positive reason behind it be aired in favor of ThunderCats is sa. D:
I don’t understand Clone Wars. You give all those clones personalities and loyalty to the Jedi in the episodes…but then in Revenge of the Sith they all just blindly follow orders and kill all their Jedi friends?

Going with Cheez on this. I like Star Wars too, and I turned out okay, even though I bought all the toys as a kid. I still like all the movies (yes, even the prequels), but I never went totally gonzo over it.
Then again, I did buy that new freakin’ huge Millennium Falcon that came out a few years back…
And then there was that new AT-AT that came out last year that I also bought a whole platoon of Snowtroopers to go with…
And then there was the Snowspeeder and the cloud car…
And the X-wing…
And the TIE Interceptor…
And I’ve got my eye on the new B-wing…

But yeah, Cheez is right, there’s always those elements of fandom that take it waaaaaay to far! I’m, also a Trekker, and everybody is probably familiar with the Trek-fan stereotype, which I try very hard to distance myself from. And while I also like Joss Whedon, I also think some of his other fans can get a little frighteningly overzealous (especially when in comes to Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog and Firefly.)
BTW, Cheez, you might also want to take a look at the review of the Star Wars Holiday Special from That Guy With the Glasses. It’s a hoot!

I know it’s before revenge of the Sith. What I’m saying is the clones, as they are presented in Clone Wars, would be out of character to just up and betray the Jedi like that.
