I think the overall aesthetic works really well with her. I haven’t seen Panthro or Slithe as yet, so who knows. So far, I think they are all great figures. I collect a lot of GI Joe and whilst overall the articulation by Hasbro is excellent, it’s actually nice to have something a bit different.
Don’t get me wrong, the toys overall are fantastic! It is a great line with just a few niggles, cheetara isn’t a bad figure, (apart from the miscoloured magnet, lack of poseability and weak bendy staff), she’s just one of the weakest of the wave in my opinion. Just wait till you see the others like the lizard soldier and panthro! 
Bad news, fellow ThunderFans. I went by my local TRU today, and the (empty) ThunderCats pegs all had clearance tags on them.
(although seriously, they’re going to complain that they can’t move product they don’t restock?)
With the tv ratings going up again on CN, many kids know about the show now compared to the original prime time air time…I’m not really understanding why these figures are on clearance still, with the show doing good again (thus more toys being in demand for future).
I say WB take matters in their own hands and when the remaining 10 episodes finish airing on CN, start fresh with a new network to air the show/new toy company (stick with Bandai only if they improve products). We fans deserve it =)
The toys aren’t selling because the toys aren’t very good and kids are not watching the show and don’t know about it. And Bandai USA makes disappointing, bad toys just like with Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.
The show won’t go to another network. It was made for CN which Time Warner/WB owns. And after the premiere they didn’t promote it at all and they still aren’t even promoting it now.
Whenever I turn on CN I see tons of commercials for Regular Show, Gumball, Adventure Time, and right now the DC Animation block. Thundercats? I see close to zip in terms of advertisement for Thundercats. The promotion for this show has been terrible.
My my have we never seen this before? T_T
At least it´s the show got such a better rating (If we can trust Matthew) i for one wanna support it but living in Sweden and trying to buy Thundercats stuff for a reasonable price is very hard..
Richard. That is NOT bad news as has been stated many times. Many places have sales on at the moment, many are part of larger sales, such as argos easter sale in the uk!

I’ll give you that, Thundercats should have received better advertizing. It started out very good about 1,5 years ago but the promotion is on a slippery slope ever since. Still nothing is finished and the 2012 Thundercon will be a good way to hype up again.
Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network need to realize ThunderCats is an everlasting property. :liono

There’s a difference between a promotional sale and a clearance. Toys R Us had definite “Clearance” tags on their Thundercats pegs and shelves.

Yes but some shops will be clearing some wave 1 to make room for wave 2 in a few months.

Wave 3 HAS to be in the works. There has been nothing beyond rumours to bandais line being yanked so even thinking like that is pointless. Sales have been really good for the toys so there is every reason to believe that theyl be continuing the line until we hear definite news to the contrary. I’m hoping for a big wave 3 announcement or even release (that’s a longshot hope but still) for before christmas!
we should know by San Diego’s Comicon. If nothing new pops up there, it is a definite bad sign.
Bandai is simply waiting to see how well the show does.

What will Thundercon 2012 change? WB and Bandai USA didn’t want anything to do with Thundercon last year. I doubt they will bring anything this year.
Mattel participated in it but not Bandai USA. Bandai USA does PowerMorphicon and Comic-Con but not ThunderCon.

Maybe because Bandai wants to take their time. That doesn’t mean they’ve abandoned ThunderCats.

Don’t be ridiculous. By any measure toy sales have been really good in the uk! And they may or may not participate in thundercon, would be nice if they did but its not a bad sign if they don’t!
