I managed to get a panthro 6 inch from tesco last night and they had loads of tanks an swords but hardly anything else.
Good sign as there were loads of gaps which means people are buying the stuff
I tried to tweet bandai uk about wave 2 but got no reply.
Here in the uk we are missing out on loads and wonder if they will release cosmocats figures in Europe?
I think its great they are seling well. As far as I know the original toys sold better here in the UK than in the USA.
I can’t wait to get the modern 6" Tygra and Cheetara. 
I have seen a load of Grune figures about, seen on on Friday in Toy’R’Us and Smyths had a few the last day I was in. If any one is desperately looking for one let me know.
Well, Ben 10 (which is also Bandai’s) seem to have been doing superbly the past four years there. They get a ton of UK only exclusives and they even have a theme park/ride in a store to promote the toys. :T
Who knows, maybe TCats will suffer a similar fate.

I agree with the idea that: “The toyline is restricted by the show”. Entire waves of figures are planned to coincide with events of the show to keep interest and involvement. Robot arms Panthro being released at relatively the same time as the situation in the show unfolds. I think most of the newer stuff is trying to stay in pace with the show. So my next assumption would be that if Cartoon Network decides to trip over themselves with the new T-Cats show, then entire wave/waves of the toyline may never get released. Just a thought.
I just got an email from Bandai UK. We will not be getting the second wave of figures until Autumn 2012. He said Argos will soon be getting Tundercats…who knows maybe they will do what they did with Transformers Prime and get wave 2 early. I am not pleased, even waiting until Autumn is still nearly a full year. A full year between waves. :eek:
I like Bandai as a company, and I think they make good toys but that is unacceptable. I love Thundercats and I hope the line gets better and keeps on going but, as soon as I get the 6" Cheetara and Tygra and the 6" classics I will be happy enough. When there is any more new 4" characters in the shops I will buy them.
I have always been a big supporter of Bandai but I am not going to lie, I am starting wish the licence had gone elsewhere. As much as I hate Mattel and the whole situation with Matty online at least we would have gotten 1 classic a month.
Don’t get upset Mark M probably they do so in order to coincide with the return of the show. The Toys should be following the pace of the cartoon!!

I really want to see more 6" figures!! Only two have been released for wave 2 with Tygra and Cheetara, i want 6" Grune, The Duelist, Slitthe..cmon Bandai get to it, the collectors are waiting out there!!!
I agree. The bad thing about the 6 inch line though is they’re putting out so few figures pretty soon they’ll only have bad guys to release. We’ve got every one of the main team out now but the twins (and they’ve been confirmed to be in the works). The only real good guys left are Claudus, Jaga, and maybe the Berbils. At least until they start introducing more good characters in the show like the Snowman of Hook mountain, Pumyra, Lynxo, Bengali, and the like.
my main beef is that they classics line is so slow..im afraid that if the new show flops, they wont continue to put out classics…this might be a little hopeful, but i wish they would put out all the primary characters out as classics…the original team, the mutants…maybe a bengali…i sure they would sell like crazy…i want to see the classics line complete in case the new show stops…
It seems there was one big shipment of wave 2 and there hasn’t been a restocking since. I can’t find Cheetara’s anywhere, do they ever plan on shipping out a second shipment of wave 2 or just that first one followed by nothing? Can anyone sense the sarcasm and frustration oozing out of my post? 
I agree with you, ive only seen the armour of omens, cheetaras, 6inch classic mummr and lion o…non of the 4 inch new figures…i dont know whats the hold up with restocking these figures…
I kind of feel that there’s something wrong between WB, CN & Bandai.
Blocky looking figures (apart from classics) with important characters missing, snobbish treatment of fans, messed up broadcasting schedule with a huge gap… I found that people I work with are into animation and they thought that the new series ended early in failure!!
I don’t wanna sound negative but I don’t really like what’s going on. What bothers me most is the future of the classics toyline.

What the heck happened to 6" modern Tygra? (it’s the best looking of the entire crew) Was it discontinued, or was it accidentally leaked earlier than planned? Only Enchanted Toy Chest had them (and they had like about half a dozen :()
Dr_Slump, unfortunately I feel the same. It looks like something has gone wrong here. Just wish I knew what was going on. I have a bad feeling about all the radio silence.
I agree there seems to be a bit of a breakdown in communication, but I don`t think any of them want to see the project fail.
The truth is the TV market has changed massively, instead of it getting bigger it has gotten smaller. There is now 3 big channels for kids shows, rather than all the ones from the 80s/early 90s.
I have no doubt Bandai and CN have agood relationship as they work closely on a number of brands. How much control WB has over the show now is unknown.
The fact we didnt see new figures is the thing that has got people jumpy and it was an issue. Most toy buyers out there arent fans they are business people, so its vital they buy into a franchise and its profitability.
Hopefully when the show does return, the buzz will be positive. As long as retail sales are good, then the line should continue. With the coming new villains and hopefully having them in plastic form the line will be stronger.
it was my understanding that Tygra was part of a “wave 2.5” type assortment
and Cheetara is actually pretty easy to find around here. multiple on the pegs any time i go into the walmart close to my job
Ditto on the 6" Cheetara. The WalMart by my house has about 3 on the shelf right now. Tons of 6" Classic Mummra’s as well. No sign of that 6" Tygra however.
My local Wal-Mart doesn’t even have Thundercats on the shelf anymore and Target only seems to have received one shipment.
I feel you Tygra, it’s like that here in LA too. Lame.
