I thought there was a “Bootlegs” thread, but I couldn’t find it. I saw this and laughed at the Snarf, and thought the rest of you guys would enjoy it.

I just looked at it. Hilarious! Snarf does look like he was run over by the ThunderTank. Mumm-Ra looks like he’s traded in his demon-priest status for a career in professional wrestling. Monkian looks like he had a bucket of white paint dumped on him. And Panthro the Deadly looks more like Panthro the Pathetic.:yikes:
I kinda liked that Mumm-Ra, but now that you said it, he does look like a wrestler!

Hmmm… Never seen that one before on eBay. The figure used for the repaint reminds me of the early MOTU line, judging by the short legs and over exaggerated upper body. I thought it was an original He Man repainted, but the boots don’t match up.:?

I saw that the other day and beware I plan on bidding pretty good on his figs. Hopefully not many people will see the link But it is the first bengali boot leg I have seen.

The Mumm-Ra figure does look fairly good But that Bengali boot-leg is hideous! And the SnowMan one looks like it’s melting right before your eyes! :shocked:
Being the resident boot-leg expert, you must have quite a collection of these figures, matt. I’m curious. How did you get interested in boot-leg figures? Not many people would choose that route. 
I do have quite a collection of these indeed. In fact all that you see in the bootleg section minus 1 (which I have but a different color) are mine, and I have more that arent pictured.
I got interested in them because I wanted to amass the biggest Thundercats collection and bought whatever thundercats stuff I could find anything and everything. Now I need to unload alot of my merch
I like the bootlegs because they are unique, pretty much each one is different due to the standards that made them. Some times they have sweet paint jobs, sometimes awful paint jobs but it makes them unique rather than the LJN ones that are all the same.

Hey Matt, you said you got into bootlegs by trying to amass a large Tcats collection, what other kind of odd Cats items do you have?
I have a liono bank in box, thundercats printing set, a printing plate from comic #6, a monkian dressup shield, casesette tape box, lobby prints from mexico, bootleg full size thundertank, wallet, the bk items etc. Thats all I can remember right now but there is more. Im sure alot of the non toy stuff will be sold off sometime.

I’ve picked up several of these myself, i think i’ve got about 5 different Lion-o’s and some others like Grune etc. There is also some large sized for Panthro and a real feminine looking Lion-O.
