Okay, so yah ? the next sketch in what I hope to be a series of reactionary images of the Thundercats in regards to how they?re viewed within the Tcats fandom as a whole.
Today, it?s Tygra?s turn.
Now, I?ll admit that the guy has a weakness to narcotics ? what with Silky?s Fruit and the Key Stone ? but the whole gay thing was one of the things that really annoyed the piss out of me since there was nothing within the series to indicate that he enjoyed the company of males. Okay, yes ? the guy?s outfit has a very asexual look to it in both cut and color scheme; but that hardly proves that he?s a homosexual. There is no solid evidence to back up such a belief, so how such a thought found its way into a number of the fandom is beyond me (probably due to lemons/weird stories ? but you can hardly base an opinion on a fanfic).
And I?ll not get into the whole ?Dead Tygra? syndrome; that got real old, real fast?
At any rate, I can imagine that if Tygra were real, he would not be overly thrilled at all with the constant berating of his character and this calm, sweet, patient tiger would one day snap ? lashing out at a random fan of such a mindset when they foolishly made a comment pertaining to it within his earshot.
And while the ?unfortunate victim? wailed and whimpered at Tygra?s behavior being very un-thundercat-like, the tiger would stop himself just long enough to remove his emblem before resuming his delivery of well sought justice.
I always considered Tygra to be the most patient of all the Thundercats, but everyone has their breaking point ? and why would Tygra be the exception.
True, the victim remains unseen, but their presence will be shown via a spray of blood in the coloring stage. I think Tygra needs a little more tweaking here and there, but?::shrugs::

And here is the completed piece (did some editing to him in Photoshop - not too keen on the bakground myself, but backgrounds have never been my strongpoint - heh).
I like how you gave Tygra vampire fangs…making the Thundercats more intimidating. When I saw the drawing, it made me think of that Judas Priest song, Delivering the Goods. And Tygra’s delivering them REAL good!:yikes:
Who’s next? I’d like to suggest Panthro. After seeing your stuff on Cheetara and Pumyra…I’d like to suggest making Panthro a ladies’ man.
I like the sketch and concept. I think you should have used the original lines of the skecth in final image. You can never achieve smooth curves using photoshop in the same way that you can with a pencil. Photoshop brushes are too consistant whereas a pencil you naturally vary the line width at the start of and or of a line. But regardless nice job
