Hard to believe this masterpiece of comics/graphic novels just turned 30! This one along with Heavy Metal Magazine, Watchmen, Swamp Thing etc. proved comics weren’t just kids stuff. It had nice artwork done in a Ralph Steadman kind of way and good storytelling, not to mention it was a satire on the culture of the time with some dark humor and became a smash hit comic among the masses even critical acclaim even by Mickey Spillain. I was 4/5 years old when it came out and bought all 4 issues as they amazed me as they were different, they showed me that not everything is sugarcoated and made me a Batman fan. I later bought the graphic novel version when i was 13 as i sold my old 4 issues that were in plastic bags as it’s one of my favorite graphic novels.
A lotta stuff that debuted in 1986 is turning 30 this year. 
I like it, but it wouldn’t be my favourite Batman story. I liked the way the animated movie came out, it was very faithful to the comics.
I recently got a graphic novel of one of my favourite Batman comics I had when I was about 7 in 92, ‘Dark Knight, Dark City’.
Well I never was an avid comic reader as a child, and even then I was a bigger fan of Superman than Batman. But one of my favorite Batman comics was the two-part “Batman vs Predator” crossover. I really enjoyed those especially since I’m a big fan of the original Predator movie.

I was always more of a Marvel fan.
LOL! You won’t believe, even today, how many times my brother and I use that phrase in our daily communication! We always include some popular movie phrase whenever we are talking, usually from the movies “Predator”, “Jaws”, “Back to the Future”, “Rocky 3 & 4” and “Breakdance”. Have you seen “Breakdance”? I think in the US it was called “Breakin’”.
I wish I did, but no. They are a bit out of my budget. And another problem is that I am a bit of a “completist”. So if I buy one figure, I just HAVE to have the entire line. So it’s a good thing that I am not into collecting the DC or Marvel figures otherwise I would have gone broke a long time ago! 
I have several Marvel Legends and DC figures. The Legends figures are on sale in various places in the UK. Especially cheap on Amazon and Ebay. I would be a bit of a completest but I know I would never have them all so I just have a few of the characters I like and some I think are cool looking.
If I was to buy Predator I could content myself with just one. The Kenner inspired ones look very nice.
I have never heard of ‘Breakdance’.
If you like 80s movies then you will love it. It’s about a bunch of street dancers and how they eventually make a name for themselves in the dance world which is dominated by the elite professionals. Some great break-dancing moves and awesome songs in it!
I might look it up. Not a fan of street dancing but I do enjoy 80’s movies.
