Just so you guys don’t think I’m doing an April Fools or something, the forum might be down for a little bit while I do the update sometime in the next couple of days. This upgrade is suppose to include some major features to the forums. He-Man.org already has 3.7 going, but it looks like they haven’t enabled a lot of the new stuff.
I’ll keep everyone updated on the status.

[LEFT]Oh an depending how things turn out in terms of modifications it may be possible to enable a modification to make a portion of the forums an auctionhouse like Ebay, its actually Vbulletins version of Ebay titled VBay…the feature will be for members only and could be implemented with a feedback system. This is in the bare stages but hopefully once the forums get updated we can work on those cool modifications. It will definitely be something members will like.

The upgrade was a success. I didn’t have time to mess around with the new features yet.
I’ve actually been working on a new template style for the past few months called Shades of Blue and I want to make it public soon.
Sent you a PM…need a walkthrough to use FTP again since im on my laptop and its not setup correctly on it. Either way, the new features are rather cool and VBay may be easier to install than I thought, just have to upload some files.

Im running FTP Pro…can anyone relay me the settings so i can connect again??? Ive tried everything and now luck 
Sorry I thought I sent you a PM last night, but I don’t think it went through. Anyhow, just as a general rule of thumb, with the exception of the username and password, the FTP details are in the Team Info thread.
I tried inputting the info but for whatever reason its not connecting me.

The backend is working fine, so it might be your software.
I changed your password to beyondsight – try it again. If that doesn’t work, might want to use a different FTP client. Try Filezilla.

The only thing I’m not liking at the moment about the upgraded forums is the new TCat logo buttons for if a forum has new posts or no new posts - I find them very dark, I thought the old ones were much nicer and more eye-catching. Everything else, however, I think is so far, so good, and it looks like the Vbay feature has gone down well so far too!

I liked the blue better myself…implementing vBay was easier than i thought and the iTrader systemis awesome. Only problem is that i hgavent figured out how is to make adding feedback accessible via the member profile..only link there is, is to view it. However to get it started one can place feedback by clicking on the red highlighted number underneath the user’s age. Just look left and you’ll see.

Anyone get database errors when accessing the forums? I’ve been getting them on and off for the past month or so. I thought the upgrade would stop it, but it’s still going on.
I am aware of it because my inbox gets flooded with 100+ messages every time someone gets the error message.
The host told me it has to do with the large image files the forums are using. I didn’t know the image limits were so large…I had to change the limits which I’m hoping will reduce the problems.
