Ever noticed some of the music is quite similar like on the 1986 animated movie of FOTS and the animated show of that plus Wilykit and WillyKat are quite like Bat and Lynn?
Hm, haven’t seen it since the early 90’s back when Manga Video first started releasing tapes here and I got massively into anime cos it used to be ‘cool’ and ‘edgy’ and ‘underground’. A passion that had been killed by the end of the 90’s with by the huge popularity of painfully bad kids stuff like Pokemon and Dragonball Z (the worst anime I’ve ever had to endure).
I still love all my old faves though and have them as mpgs and avi files on an external drive (since a lot of my faves aren’t on DVD or if they are they’ve been redubbed with some bland voice track when the original dub was so much superior, Akira being a prime example or they’ve lost the awesome music the dub had added like Cyber City Oedo 808). Fist of the North Star is on the drive so I should probably give it a watch for first time in 20 years or so and refresh my memory of that one.
