I have 7 new pieces of ThunderCats original comic art to add to our Gallery, which I plan to complete in February
More write-ups and work in general for the Episode Guide, which is now once again my overriding priority for not just the Cartoon Section but TCL work in general (I have one more episode written up already, with more to hopefully follow soon)
I also hope to contribute some more bits & pieces to the Encyclopedia text as Kyle needs them (although not anything I’d expect to coincide with what you’re planning MannyF)
sorry I havent been around much lately. I really dont have an excuse and im not going to make one just got lazy. as far as things for this month nothing.
march should be different though. I want the minis up ASAP, i just need the html done for them (i have to finish editing them) march is my new deadline
I have been busier than I can explain lately.. but Have just managed to catch up and currently have 4 illustrations done (my months goal)…
I will be uploading them soon.
Also I am in the progress of Editing our latest podcast, and updating the thundercast site. (which I am having to build from scratch…not going to go into it..) but it should all be done before the end of the month
No it doesn’t Manny, it has more to do with the fact that when I migrated my Old Mac to my new one I forgotbto transfer all my iWeb website files (including Thundercast) So last night I buit the bullet and re-built it. All back to normal now.. Just need to edit and add the latest episode
Even though I’ve been quite quiet, I’ve been pottering away on TCL stuff as my limited spare time allows - today or tomorrow I’ll be updating the Episode Guide status thread to show what I’ve been doing!
Just an FYI, I’ve been working away at trying to track down who the artist is of my favourite T-Cat piece (the publicity art). That’s basically been where all my efforts have been invested lately. It is going to be a longer term payoff so my work on the site will seem slow for the next while. Sorry for delaying intended improvements to my section, but in the last part of 2007 I overhauled parts of my section and updated areas too.
I’ll try to get a content update on my section soon but I really want to focus my energy on finding the artist in question. My goal is to get a commissioned piece done that would be a site exclusive (though cereal:geek may get a copy too)
Thanks Manny. I managed to track down Kevin’s e-mail address so I tried contacting him directly. I appreciate the pointer!
edit
Already got a response from Kevin. He doesn’t know who did the piece but he’s going to forward to a few folks that he thinks may know. Seems like a nice guy.
Holy cow you contacted and got a response from Kevin??? Kevin’s supposed to be the man with The Mad Bubbler proto.
If we could only keep in contact with Kevin directly ratehr than deal with Jordan Hembrough that would make things so much easier, however Jordan may not like the idea… being Kevin is his client with the massive collection.
Hey Mark could you forward me his email or contact info, Id really like to see if we can get some in depth info from him for the website.
Sure I have no problem introducing you Manny but I’ll need to ask Kevin if its okay for me to put you guys in touch. I’ll do that as soon as I’ve gotten what I need from Kevin (he’s reaching out to some guys who worked on the show to see if any of them painted my piece). I’ll let you know if/when I hear back.
Thanks Mark just let him know Ive been working very closely with Jordan on his items, trying to give them as much exposure as possible. Im sure he’ll know who i am as soon as you mention it
