Ya, Lynx-O is a great character who could have been fleshed out much more. I feel the writers sometimes got lazy and used the blindness too much.

I kind of wish there was an episode where he got his sight BACK and he has to go through a process of accepting it and by the end he does NOT get blinded again.

Also I wanna add that Eye of The Beholder is a very amusing episode and features the most EPIC face on Monkian ever.

by the way. ever notice each episode of thundercats has at least a few frames with REALLY well drawn animation? It’s almost become a game of I Spy for me.

Like this image here. A lot of the animation for Eye of The Beholder was pretty meh but some frames were drawn EXTREMELY well. with shading and better anatomy. I wonder if this in intentional.

In some of the final episodes of ThunderCats, Lion-O’s eyes are red as opposed to the usual ginger.

Never noticed this before. I will have to take a look.

I always found it interesting how Lion-Os eyebrows went from black to red depending on the episode.

I prefer his eyebrows to be red.

he’s a redhead his eyebrows SHOULD be red. Take it from somebody who has red hair. Just remember though. if you watch the show carefully their eyes tend to change color quite often and Mumm-Ra sometimes has squashed face syndrome.

Inconsistent animation has always been a factor in the cartoon world.

I always found it interesting how Lion-Os eyebrows went from black to red depending on the episode.

And within some episodes, like “The Micrits”, where the eyebrow color alternates between red and black.

Yes, that’s a great example of their identity crisis! They also really seemed to grow larger in later episodes (as did the muscles).

Mumm-Ra also has this problem. Poor guy. Only since he doesn’t have eyebrows his eyes get another problem. DERPYNESS.

yeah but i prefer feeble to steroids. I don’t even think he had any blood to inject the drug into XD he should be called mumm-ra the ever swollen. I think he looked the best in mumm-ra lived part 4 and Return to Thundera part 5. If you pay close enough attention though in other episodes he looks like he doensnt even have a pelvis. like his legs are fused to his spine. XD

Season 3 in general isn’t very good quality of animation but this is just above and beyond all others. Combined robots the same height as other robots, robots on the wrong factions side, night/space alternating to day scene to scene and even a scene of Galvatron and Soundwave flying holding hands.
