That’s ok :mumm-ra: but yeah. That’s all it was. Either way if he’s from a different planet and it exists at THAT time then the movie has a plot hole that needs to be filled.
Speaking of plot holes and stuff. Why would Thunderians need a bracelet that would mind control people? I don’t know but the plot line for “The Bracelet of Power” just creates some very UNFORTUNATE implications.
In Thundercats Ho! part 5 Jaga says he’s safe in his own time, his own dimension. I don’t know where the different dimension bit comes in, but it’s odd that we then see young Jaga free Hachiman from the double headed dragon in “The Jade Dragon”. I’ll buy that wherever and whenever Hachiman is from he can somehow travel to Third Earth, either by being transported by Mumm-Ra or his own means, but Jaga being on Third Earth back in the past, and possibly another dimension, what the hell was he doing there?
I also just thought of another episode I don’t care for at all. “The Cricus Train”. Such a crappy way for the mustants to go out. I now a couple of them showed up again later, but as a group this was a poor send off for the original villains.

I totally agree. Circus Train has to rank with the worst. There are so many elements of that episode that made a complete mockery of the characters.
Which is probably why I don’t intent to watch that episode. Just seeing their fates in “Return To Thundera” just ticked me off so much. Also it made the Thundercats seem like utter jerks. I mean the mutants are sentient beings, I don’t CARE if they are evil. What right do the cats or ANYBODY else have to force the Mutants to become circus performers against their wills?
I agree about the Circus Train.
Just remember though season 3 and 4 kind of were full of major plotholes. I still don’t get why mumm-ra returned to the book of omens in the series finale when he was UTTERLY traumatized by being in that thing in the episode “Key to Thundera”. >
There was that stupid episode about the Chain of Loyalty or something like that.
“Chain of Loyalty” and “Circus Train” must be among the worst episodes ever. In “Chain of Loyalty”, the essence of being a TC was thrown to the trashcan, while in “Circus Train” the Mutants (and I think the Lunatacks as well) were so mistreated after being the main villains. Also, the TCs tried to get rid of them for years, and then Bragg gets rid of them sio easily. The Tcs should have felt so silly themsleves LOL

These are the things that make me so mad. especially for somebody who is a first time water. Those episodes are dumb, making mumm-ra a GROVELING mess in “return of the thundercubs” was also dumb. Yeah I know the mutants have silly moments like in “Out of Sight” but they were also considered a REAL threat. sounds to me like Bragg is a gary-stu. I refuse to acknowledge his existence.
I don’t know if this was supposed to be a thing but later in the series it seemed like the thundercats were pretty much elitist jerks. Like they are always right and anybody who questions them is wrong. Just like how I am still sore about how entitled they felt about third earth when mumm-ra got exiled and they acted like HE was the one who was the invader.
Chain of Loyalty could have been written better. Like if MUMM-Ra had been the one who created the chain by carefully watching the thundercats working together like it was created from all the goodness and stuff they had done and he curses it or something which makes everyone INCLUDING LIon-O get at each other’s throats. And snarf and snarfer or something head to mummra’s pyramid after figuring out what is going on. They fight him to get the chain and BREAK it to remove the curse thus freeing the loyalty he’d imprisoned inside of it.

ThunderCats did have moments of silliness, even in the first season. 
Speaking of favorites. Out of all the season 5 parters the one with the most rewatch value aside from the pilot one is Mumm-Ra Lives. It’s got so much YAY in it. Plus the fact that instead of the sword of omens being OP and Lion-O saving the day the heroes are Cheetara and Lynx-O and they do it using something from Mumm-Ra’s own time period and kingdom. Egyptian things= win.
I also enjoyed the episode The Mountain. That was one of the episodes where the mutants actually were treated seriously and not like clowns. My only complain was in the end when they got out of the cave. IMO the mutants should have decided since the thundercats worked to save them that they would call it a draw for the day and both fractions head home without further conflict.
as for episodes I cannot stand a lot of them get that reward from season 4.
Screwloose : The writing was horrible and it annoyed me that a C3PO rip off was able to wield the sword of omens and the sword of plun-dar. It also felt like whoever had written it had just finished watching the star wars movies. I really wish Mumm-Ra had zapped that robot into pieces.
Malcar: repeats a storyline from season 1 “The Mountain”. also Jaga preventing Mumm-Ra from transforming and being able to manipulate the living world. Sorry but Jaga should remain the Obi-Wan. seen only by Lion-O and unable to do ANYTHING himself to fight Mumm-Ra. Fail.
Ma-Mutt’s Confusion: Horribly written, practically turns Mumm-Ra into a walking joke. The device he uses is just silly and a giant plot hole. Mumm-Ra is Egyptian not Babylonian. Also the sword of Omens pulls another one of those OP moments like in Return to Thundera part 5 and in the episode Day of The Eclipse which is yet another badly written episode though it’s from season 2.
Touch of Amortus: Kill it with fire. I am so sick of episodes about Lynx-O being so focused on his blindness. The plotline would have been better if it were about Mumm-Ra restoring the mask of gordon and using it on the thundercats to turn them into stone. Lynx-O could have been the hero in the episode because he cannot see the mask and could therefore destroy it. Yes it still would have been a Lynx-O is blind episode but it would have been a lot better. Also the villain in the episode stinks. It looks like it would have been more at home in an episode of Dragon Ball.
Well of Doubt: The villain of the episode was lame his intentions were a huge contradiction to the code of Thundera and the plot was so BORING i gave up watching it halfway through the episode.

I agreein that “The Mountain” was one of the best episodes. The final you suggest is really interesting (not too Mutant-ish though lol)
You’re also right about “Malcar” and Jaga’s role in it. If he was able to do that, why didn’t he do it before? Like in every single espisode?
Throughout the series, I grew sick of “Lynx-O is blind so he’s almost superpowered” myself.

But that’s why it would have made for a better ending. It would have made the thundercats question their feelings about mutants giving them the impression that maybe mutants do have some kind of honor after all.

Ya, Lynx-O is a great character who could have been fleshed out much more. I feel the writers sometimes got lazy and used the blindness too much.
