So what is your favorite episode so far? I’m combining the first two episodes since they were played together.
“Journey to the Tower of Omens” for me 
Legacy. It had me fangirling.
Premiere for me. I thought it felt epic and I loved that Tygra was more than just background material.
The pilot episodes got my vote, they are the ones that are the most memorable in general and what a great setting.
I voted Journey to the Tower of Omens…great episode with lots of action and everyone really got a moment to shine.
I haven’t seen all of them, didn’t have time, i’ll have to wait until i return from the army to assess properly the whole season. But i think my vote goes to episode 1, the best epilogue for the New series and a lot of epic moments.
Old Friends for me. It’s the episode that has reminded me the most of the OS.
For me it’s the series premiere or the first 2 episodes. My second favorite is the Journey to the Tower of Omens. I pretty much liked them all. The one I liked the least though is Ramlak Rising.
Ramlak Rising would actually be my second favorite after the premiere. Loved that episode as well.
My problem with Journey to the Tower of Omens is that it felt like a video game and the episode felt rushed.
My problem with Legacy is I didn’t like how Lion-O assumed Leo’s identity able to make his own choices instead of learning what choices Leo made and I didn’t like the battle armor they wore, just thought it looked cheesy.
Old Friends was pretty good. I enjoyed learning the history as well as seeing our heroes in action there at the end. Just didn’t care how easy it was for Lion-O to impress Panthro.
My favorite is “Journey to the Tower of Omens” because every character has a moment in the spotlight.
That’s why it’s my favorite too 
I voted for Old Friends, also. To me, the flashbacks make it the most exciting and “epic” episode of Season 1, Book 1.
As the newest arrival to this forum, I would like to apologise in advance if I say anything that may offend the members of this forum.
Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t help but wonder if reception to ep 8-The Duelist and the Drifter-would have been different if the Duelist had been designed as a female character. I just saw the trailer for the newest Three Musketeers movie and I came across this image on the Net:

I can almost imagine the Duelist as an animated, purple skinned Milla Jovovich kicking Liono’s butt in that fancy medieval dress: now THAT would have been visually spectacular to watch. Just imagien Liono in the following below:

I voted Journey To the Tower of Omens. I’d say my order would be:
- Journey To the Tower of Omens (Just perfect in every way)
- The Sword of Omens & Ancient Spirits of Evil (Such a strong start)
- Old Friends (Loved the back story and Driller appearance)
- Legacy (For the old school 80’s fanboy in me)
- Song of the Petalars (Loved me some Petalars)
- The Duelist and the Drifter (Had a few cool moments)
- Ramlak Rising (The weakest of the bunch)

Having been watching the episodes on DVD…
I like Panthro better bald and with two good eyes.
When the gang is resting in the desert in Ramlak Rising just before Snarf finds the sand sea, Tygra is facing away from the group and staring at a large rock. What’s he doing, relieving himself right there?
I hadn’t noticed the tears in Lion-O’s eyes before in Song of the Petalars.
I like Tygra’s clothes better before he got the green armor.
Tygra carried a sword on him when he rode out to battle in the second half of the premiere. Why didn’t he take that sword with him on their journey?
In the shop where Lion-O purchased the piece of tech in the premiere, as he’s leaving, there’s something strangely familiar looking about the piece of machine in the left corner of the room as he walks out.
I think they should build bunks into the back of the ThunderTank so the Cats can sleep comfortably in there when on the move.
It says I already voted, but I dont remember doing so.
The premier. Hands downs. I loved the introductions of all the character. It left me with tons of questions, but I still got plenty to chew on.
Legacy was it for me. All the information and easter eggs were awesome. Got a lot of history and hints at what other species inhabit 3rd earth.
