Favorite 80s Revival Comic(s)

Over the past couple of years, many beloved 80s franchises made their way into comic books. He-Man; Thundercats; Transformers; G.I. Joe and Voltron come to mind. Which one was your favorite?

My favorite 80s revival was Voltron by Devil’s Due publishing. I think they took the Voltron concept and refined it nicely. I say it was a very sad shame that it was cancelled.

I have posted here because I knew if I posted at he-man.org, He-Man would’ve won automatically. And I know that, overall, the Wildstorm TC comics were not well received here. Personally, I can take or leave them… the earliest issues of the Marvel/Star comics are the ones I liked.

I am a huge He-Man fan but the comic wasn’t very strong IMO. Val Staples and Emiliano Santalucia tried their best but Mattel stuck his nose and that made it a little weak.

I think the best revival in comic form has to be GI Joe. It has been great from the start.

I didn’t read all of those titles, but out of what I did catch I think my favourite was probably MOTU, followed by ThunderCats. Transformers: The War Within I also found a captivating read! :slight_smile:
