Fangs

The Cats did not have fangs in the OS that I recall. They had them with fangs in artwork since.

But in the new series, the ThunderCats all definitely have fangs. Of course this is a normal cat feature, cats have fangs.

My question to you is…

What do you think of the fang design for the new ThunderCats?

im kinda indifferent about it to be honest, doesnt bother me one way or another if they have them or not, but i figure they should have fangs since they are cat-people. especially since the new designs are a little more cat-like than the old designs

Without a doubt the fangs are a nice touch. The quality of the animation as a whole is superb.

Honestly I don’t really notice them unless I see them in still images. I think they fit with the whole cat thing though.

I’m pretty neutral about them - as a rule I dislike seeing images of the classic character designs with the fangs added, but with the new show I think the addition of the fangs is a nice touch, but equally I could live without them! :smiley:

So, I’m neutral (which is how I voted), but leaning more in a positive than negative direction! :slight_smile:

I think they fit with the whole cat thing though.

Yup they wanted them to have more cat features than the OS did.

I like the fangs.

While I think they’re a nice change/introduction, I wouldn’t be bothered if they weren’t there, so as I like the idea but would’t die for it, I can’t say I love them, but can’t consider myself neutral either :wink:

I haven’t noticed the fangs much, but I remember during the original series thinking “that’s not a cat-alien-person, that’s just a human with a cool danskin” on some of the secondary Thunderians. This was especially a problem in the comic book. I liked in “Petalars” when it showed the 'Cats leaping from tree branch to branch, like real cats.

I dig them. While they weren’t present during the old series the Thundercats were portrayed as having fangs in the comic book series and also in a lot of the fan art.

If you look at the dvd box set artwork they are present as well.
