Sounds more like you meant Kaynar was inspired by the Joker than being a Rip-off of him.
I’m sorry but I have to vote for Mumm-Ra on this one. Kaynar is crazy and he makes me laugh, but I’ve always been a fan of Mumm-Ra, even in the OS. This version is miles better than the OS version so it was pretty much a no-brainer for me.
I like Slithe because he’s so clearly just a dude trying to do his job and constantly surrounded by incompetents.
Also, he’s voiced by Dee Bradley Baker who is an all around great guy.
Something between those lines was my point. Good you learn something new everyday 
So is Kaynar and several other side characters.
They say: “Either sh*t or get off the pot” so I have to throw in with team Kaynar. He just gets the best lines of all the villains and “You’re like a toy that never breaks!” is what finally sold me.
That part was epic.
Yes, I know. He tends to do at least half a dozen voices in everything he’s in.
It was a bonus for why I like Slithe, not the singular reason.
Ya know the weird thing? In the OS Jackalman was by far my least favorite mutant, but I love Kaynar. Dude steals every scene he’s in.

A tough question indeed, one of the best assets of the NS is the exemplary work the writers have done in taking the main Villains from the OS and totally upgrading them in every aspect.There is so much sophistication around with the bad guys.
Addicus and Kaynar are probably the most remarkable update we’ve seen so far.Both have a menacing and frightening look which intimidate the viewer. It’s like those horror movies where the bad guys are portrayed so evil and vicious which terrify anyone who sees them. Their debut in New Alliances was very clever.by showing us these convicted murderers were on death row set the stage for the wickedness inside them.I dare even say that i enjoy watching them beating down Thundercats!!!
Mumm-ra has two different sides for me. The mummified version doesn’t inspire so much awe as in the OS maybe due to Earl Hammond’s unparalleled voice and how faithfully he conveyed the mystifying and wicked aura the dark wizard has.
On the other hand The Transformed Mumm-ra is so much evil power personified.In this form it really convinces you, the ancient spirits worshiper is capable of everything and abysmal forces are on on his control.It’s not so easily beaten as in the OS,additionally the origin story laid down to us, makes even more formidable his presence.The whole domination scenario over Thundercats works so well and gives a mature and thought provoking meaning to the perennial battle against good vs evil.
I picked Grune for one basic reason, the hardcore fans of the OS we were disappointed of his small appearance in few episodes and generally his limited interference to evil deeds with Mumm-ra.Still, The Ghost Warrior has already earned its place in the pantheon of BEST Thundercats episodes. I wanted so much to see him introduced once again and i am very happy he has a pivotal role so far, i believe we will see more of him in the future.

Kaynar has long fingers too! Just, not quite as long.
I was torn between Grune and Kaynar, but voted for Grune at the end because, as crazy as Kaynar could be, I think Grune would kick some jackal ass if they fight against each other.
Eh, maybe. Kaynar seems rather relentless while Grune kinda gives up before he gets defeated.
That would be one cool fight.
