Kaynar is so lovable! How could you not vote for him!?
I have to say that all of the villains in the series have been pretty awesome.
Mumm-Ra is almost the same as he originally was except they gave him this whole back story of basically being a Thanos/Darkseid character. I also liked that in this version they made him directly responsible for the fall of Thundera and was what drove the Thundercats on this quest rather than the original show where they just sort of stumbled onto his territory.
Slithe has been awesome too. My favorite episode for Slithe in the original show was “The Fireballs of Plun-Darr” because of how ruthless he was. In this new show, they’ve made him into that version times 2. He’s a very cold and intelligent character that is a delight whenever he comes on screen.
Grune was one of my favorite guest villains from the original show and I loved his re-imagining here. In their quest to “simplify the mythology” I liked that they made Grune’s betrayal a key factor in Thundera’s destruction. His feud with Panthro was pretty cool as well and I am almost certain we will see him again.
Kaynar is awesome too. They straight up made Jackalman into The Joker, and I love it.
Addicus is great from a physical stand point, but the voice and character lack the charm of the original without offering too much that is special. Of the three Mutant generals, he’s definitely the weakest.
Ratar-O was fan-freakin-tastic. I loved him. Basically, he was exactly what I thought the character could have been in the original series had they used him more and, they even gave him a British Accent. So deliciously evil!
Even though he was only there for Lion-O to whoop up on and wasn’t much of a character, it was cool to see The Driller.
And to throw some love to characters original to the show, I have to say that I liked The Duelist and The Conquedor. They were both really fun villains and gave a different flavor to both episodes they were featured in. The Wood Forgers were a nice team of opponents for the T-Cats, and in “Native Son”, I liked Caspin who I guess was a villain, though his motivations were understandable. I give the show credit for taking chances at creating their own characters rather than focusing solely on recreating & reimagining characters we already know.
If I had to pick one from that list, it is really tough. The easy answer is Mumm-Ra of course, but I think I’m going to go with Ratar-O. He was just 10 different kinds of awesome.
This one’s not even close. Easily the most entertaining, good-looking (“did he say handsome?”) of anyone in the whole series.

So if any writers for the show happen to be lurking a season 2 episode featuring only Kaynar and Pumyra would probably go over really well.

Same, Kaynar is cool but for me is just to much of a rip-off of The Joker (and a bad one at that). The others we dont really know much about, so yet again: GO MUMM-RA!

He probably wont cause people like this cheap version of The Joker over Mumm-Ra which is an even better villian in this show then the old one. Are people judgeing him cause of all the fights? He still has great depth. Kaynar just laughs jumps, smashes and laughs some more.
Even The Joker is not that dumb (as a matter of fact he ain’t dumb at all).
Still Kaynar is ok, what ever i may think about him being a cheap rip-off it’s cool seeing such a crazy character in this show (for kids i might add).
I find Kaynar a little more morbid. I know joker kills people but Kaynar wants to eat them! They definitely took influence from him but I don’t see him as a blatant ripoff.
I’m sorry, english is not my native language and my rip-off i mean of course that the reason Kaynar exist is cause they were probably looking at The Joker when they made him this crazy. Pretty much what you just said.
