There was some talk about doing a weekly episode talk back thread a while back. I’m going to try and do my part to keep the board as active as possible and I think this may be one way of doing so. We have our share of toy collectors that keep the toy forums pretty busy, so I think it’s time for the cartoon fans to help keep this forum from being a ghost town.
I know optimusprime will be happy to hear this at the least. 8)
I really like the idea as well. Perhaps we should stick to only discussing the shows that are available on DVD (since some people may not have seen all 130 of the episodes originally, before dvd)
I like the idea of going in order, but we may jump once in a while when there are special things going on like may be when S2V1 comes out we can jump to the 5parter…I want to see the initial response first and foremost and we can go from there.
Again, I promise this is coming soon…we have something big waiting in the wings.
I’m thinking of a way to make the talkback threads as informative as possible for those who haven’t seen the episodes in a while. It’s not just going to be I pick the episode and we all talk about it…well actually it will be, but I also hope it helps bring out different perspectives of each episode.
I know there are a lot of fans on the board who see the episodes in different ways, so I hope to bring those lurkers out of the shadows and get them to join in on the discussion.
I’m planning on starting the talkback threads next week.
just a word of advice if i were the person doin the talkback threads try to do them in order of the dvds or how they came out whichever would be easier for the fans to remember. also try not to put up to many talkback threads back to back so quick some people may not reply to them so quickly
Great idea. Maybe the episode that is going to be discussed could be announced a few days ahead of time to let some people who haven?t seen it in a while get a chance to go back and watch it. Also it would be great if someone can maybe post some screen caps of the episode in question in each thread.
