Yes, I always wondered why Tygra never said a word then. Then, as I grew up and rewatched the series, I realized Cheetara was always more the impulsive type, whle Tygra was the quiet, analytical type. He might have decided it had no point to argue, threat or make any effort at all while inside the thundranium cage, but instead to keep his strenght and energy as much as possible.
Also, throughtout the series, writers gave Tygra the less number of lines ever when they were in group, usuallymaking him the quiet one (if you watch carefully, usually were Panthro and Cheetara, besides Lion-O that is, the ones that made the talking), so there was no surprise.
But Tygra had no strength in the Thundranium cage. He even said it himself. ( this Thundranium cage has me weaken than a kitten ). Yea I just read one of your answers about SJ bound it Tygra and Cheetara back to the cages. Bound meaning tie them up? Also when Lion-0 used the sword of oceans to call them. thundercats hooooo. You see SJ Robot with a Gun pointed out the Thundercats. But there in Thundranium cages nowhere to go. What whatās the point of that. Itās not like they were getting out of there cages.

That was it SJ, had to tie up/ handcuffs Tygra hands some how off camera. Think about it. Heās got to bring back 2 thundercats back to his camp. As there going back to SJ camp he walks Tygra back which cheetara is moving in the energy bolts since SJ Controls the energy bolts. Once he gets them to camp. Mule saids congratulation safari Joe. Opens the cage and Tygra goes in without putting up a fight since heās already weak. Than Cheetara comes down and SJ frees her from the energy bolts with Mule pointing his gun at cheetara the whole time just in case she tryās something funny. Wonder If SJ throw Tygra in head first like he did the Kittens lol
Not necessarily did SJ tie Tygra. Remember Cheetara was up in the air and Tygra didnāt have his bolowhip, so he was unarmed. SJ just needed to tell Tygra to walk or Cheetara would pay the consequences. Then Tygra walked inside the cage and the energy bolts flew Cheetara inside afterwards (or down to the ground, where SJ removed them and told Cheetara to get insideā¦ remember that all this time the kittens were already in their cages, so they could have been used as a motive for Cheetara and Tygra to get in).
I seriously doubt that SJ threw Tygra in head first; the kittens were lighter and were almost uncoinscious, and also Tygra was an adult, itās harder. Most probable is Tygra was made to walk inside āvoluntarilyā.
Tygra had his Bolo-Whip the whole time, once SJ help him out of the water. Tygra could of walk and got SJ off guard. Thatās why I think he had to tie him up on the way to camp. Unless SJ told Tygra donāt try anything funny or cheetara will get it. Still wish Tygra turn invisible.
Could be what you said, that SJ told Tygra not to do anything funny, but most probable SJ took Tygraās bolowhip off camera (not everything can and have to be shown). I also would have liked Tygra to turn invisible though.
Now, watching the ep again, thereās a slim chance that the energy bolts were aimed at Cheetara the whole time. Iāve seen the scene and it goes like this:

This makes me think SJ has set the trap for Tygra, as if he knew exactly what to do and where to shoot to get some water coming out.[/li][/ol]
#1 if Tygra turns Invisble he beats SJ. Because SJ would not be able to see Tygra. Hey can Tygra used his Bolo whip when heās Invisble if so SJ has no chance against Tygra than. #2 when SJ fires the energy bolts Cheetara see them first. Tygra not paying attention thatās why cheetara pushes Tygra out of the way. Now a good question is Did SJ Fire the cuffs at Tygra knowing cheetara would get in the way??? Watch it again they donāt stand there for a while since the energy bolts are coming very fast. Cheetara sees them first meaning she could of move out of the way than Tygra would of been trap and been caught in the energy bolts. #3 yes Tygra tells SJ set her free hunter. But SJ saids whoās gonna make me you with your bolowhip. Right there tells me SJ telling Tygra your Bolo whip canāt hurt me. The question once Tygra takes his Bolo whip out he should of turn Invisble unless he could Not against SJ but I donāt see why not. Mule saids neutralize defense system ( meaning donāt make Tygra Invisble and donāt let cheetara run fast. #8 the energy bolts would not bring cheetara in the cage. At some point he had to free her and the best was SJ free cheetara after Tygra was in his cage( like I said as SJ taking the bolts off Mule had a gun and Iām sure he was pointing it at Tygra and the kittens or even at cheetara. Plus cheetara was next to the thunders ohm cages which made her weak either way.
Hey I just watch it again. And you know whatās funny how would SJ even no Tygra and Cheetara would even come to check the first out. #1 SJ does shoot the energy bolts at the both of them. Cheetara push Tygra out of the way to protect him but cheetara pays the price. #2 I was thinking Tygra could not turn invisble because SJ had his gun pointed at him the whole time ( if that even make senses ) #3 Tygra mind of been hurt once he fell in the whole ( after all that whole was like 8 feet deep and he did landed on his back. #4 the water was coming up fast. After a while Tygra could not breath as well as swim.
5 Once SJ helps Tygra out of the water, Tygra still has his Bolo-Whip in his hand. Think about this Aton of water is coming out at full speed and he still has his bolowhip.
#6. We than see SJ say SJ HAS DONE IT AGAIN and you see Tygra coughing real bad and very weak while you see cheetara up in midair with the energy bolts moving. This tells me SJ can control the energy bolts since they are moving from side to side alittle. #8 You were, everything canāt be on camera. So with that being said SJ first takes Tygra Bobo-whip than bound Tygra hands together ( remember SJ is a big time game hunter so in sure he had handcuffs on him since heās a hunter. I donāt see SJ carrying Tygra to camp so Tygra walks handcuff while SJ tells Tygra walk or Iāll hurt cheetara and kit and cat are my prisons already. Tygra gets his Thundranium cage while cheetara comes down from the energy bolts. SJ frees cheetara but while Mule is pointing a gun at Tygra. SJ telling Cheetara to get in her Cage or ill make Tygra into a Rug. Seeing that Cheetara goes in her cage.
Ha! I also have always wondered how did SJ know Cheetara and Tygra wwere the next on patrol.
Guess your theories on Tygra (hurt from the fall, not being able to swim and breathe) might be right; at least thatād amke a little sense to that episode.
I donāt think SJ needed to hundcuff Tygraās hands at his back. He already had him at gun point, plus Cheetara and the kittens as his prisoners, and most probably took Tygraāsis bolowhip off-camera (just as we later know he took Cheetaraās staff, that was off-camera as well and is almsot 100% sure he had the bolowhip as well). Thatād be enough to make Tygra walk without trying a move.
I always wanted Tygra to get his revenge on SJ in
Fond Memories. If you remember Tygra tells kit and Kat you take care of SJ and me Panthro and cheetara will fight the spider. Once again the Writers killed this episode. Panthro and the kittens should of went after the spider. While Tygra and Cheetara go after SJ. SJ shoots energy bolts at cheetara again and sheās up in mid air nowhere to go. But This time Tygra defeats SJ turning Invisble and using his Bolo-whip to beat SJ. ( after all SJ told Tygra before whoās gonna make me you with your Bolo-whip like SJ telling Tygra you canāt hurt me with that weapon. Wish Tygra had the chance to fight SJ again. That water weakness was so bad I no I no Lion-o got to save the day but than gave Tygra a real weakness not canāt swim.
Ahhhā¦ āFond Memoriesā Another bad-handled episode IMO.
Had Tygra took his revenge on SJ in āFond Memoriesā, there would have been no need for Lion-O to save the day, and that was all TCs was about lol.
But I agree that episode was wrong as well. Why sending the two kids against SJ and the three adults together against Spidera? Why didnāt Panthro, Cheetara or Tygra go with the kittens? Even more, having 4 portraits to look at, why didnāt they divide more? The kittens go with SJ, Panthro with Spidera, Tygra with Slithe and Cheetara with Ratar-O (I think he was the 4th one)? It had no sense at all the way they handled it.
And at the end, all the TCs were praising Lion-O for his bravery and for being such a good friend because he didnāt abandon them in those portratis, but werenāt the others in that trouble for Lion-O in the first place? They got into those portraits because they were looking for him, so the least Lion-O could have done was rescuing them (and it wasnāt like he entered a portrait, he just used the Eye of Thundera).
Exactly my point Your sending kittens to fight SJ. Really? I no Lion-O the star of the show. How about The spaceship beneath the sand. The mutants Caught Tygra and Cheetara in a sticky net and canāt get free. Once again Lion-o to the rescue. I mean how sticky was that net. Reminds me of Lynxana capturing the kittens in that sticky net. Same kind of net. Right?
Right. But sticky nets are, you know, sticky ;). The most they moved, the most they got trapped in it. And I think it was Panthro who came out with the idea on how to get them free that time.
Hey Tygra rules, divided and conquer I love how Tygra saved cheetara from that Big Bee. He was in total control. And you see he turn Invisble and save cheetara. What would happen if Tygra some how fell in that pit with cheetara. Would he be able to get free or be stick like cheetara was.
