As my holiday is here I will upload what I have acomplished on the encyclopedia. This will include a number of new character illustrations and and vehicle illustrations. The only problem is that the writing for these is not yet done. But I don’t want to wait until that is done before I get it online.
I am having problems updating the home page via blogger, so if somebody who has that set up could do this for me I would appreciate it. I would like something like this.

No I kinda needed it before I went away, But its not a problem.. I found a reasonable image to work from.. Just needs announcing now

Yeah I put the image the wrong side of the text in the table. That would have been easily fixable, but I couldn’t get the text smaller to match the other news for some reason.
Best leave it for someone else who knows what they are doing! lol

Hey Kyle, did you want me to take a stab at doing some text for these? I definitely won’t get them all done in time for your update, but some are really straightforward and easy, and should only take a couple of minutes to do!

Oh, and just to add, out of curiosity have you changed the layout for the Encyclopedia pages? The reason why I ask is because on these new ones (with the “to be added” text underneath), you’ve got the “Character overview” and “Appearances” areas centered rather than aligned left. I’m guessing that this is just a temporary thing because it makes the page look nicer with the placeholder text…?
Last but by no means least - these illustrations look AMAZING!!! :yikes: I think my favourite one is probably the Bruteman, although that said I’m also delighted to see the Living Ooze for reasons stated previously!

Hey Chris, Feel free to add write up any of these you can, but I won’t have time to add them before I go away. So best fire them my way when I get back mate.
In terms of the layout, it aligns center when there isn’t enough text to stretch it out… not a big deal… its just the images ppl will be looking at until the text goes live too..
All that I need is SOMEBODY to announce the update on the front page…lol.. All the info is at the beginning of this thread.. Im sure somebody other than Manny can do it.. Appreciate any help from anyone.. Cheers

Nah I tried, but it’s still screwing up as I can’t get the text at the same length as the image!
I even tried doing the editing in DW, copying and pasting but it still didn’t work out.
I could edit the front page in DW no probs, but then when someone posts the next news using blogger, it will delete my previous entry.
Afraid I’ve tried my best and now it’s probably down to Manny to sort when he returns. Sorry Kyle!

ideally I want it like Marks animation posts.. with the image on the right hand side.. but if that will cause hell… don’t worry about it… that will be fine… all that needs doing is a random broken image file needs removing..

I see what Kyle’s talking about, too - the broken image. Clicking on the properties, it doesn’t tell you much other than the name of the broken image is moz-screenshot.jpg

BTW I think I have resolved the issue and managed to format the page as I desired. As long as it loads ok for PC users I am happy.
