well here are my two lastest. I just won an 8 back Slythe for $36 and an 8 back Mumm-ra with battery for $102 off of Ebay the other day

Please post how this goes with that seller. I wanted to bid on a few of his items but the Money Order only and 0 feedback made me hesitant to bid.

Those 2 factors raised some red flags on my end too.Plus the dates on the pictures showed January 2 2004. Perhaps a mistake but maybe not
I’m crossing my fingers this seller pulls through. I haven’t been screwed on Ebay yet, but we’ll see…if it does happen then I’ll definitely have to do my homework beforehand. The seller’s name is ‘Amy Gomez’ - she/he/…sold 47 items. Hopefully with all the spontaneous auctions listed she means business and not out to swindle many people. I hope the carded Driller looks as good as what was in the picture…I got it less for what it went loose ($164!). 8-back Monkian for $32.00. Roll The Bones.

Well it looks like the same few people are bidding on these items. It is amazing since some of the stuff is not all that hard to find and not in the best condition. Even foreign carded figures are selling for way over what they should. It is very interesting…
So far the Ebay seller Hallaback2me4good143 has been prompt with replies to my emails. Will email a tracking #. Says she has more Thundercat items to put up for sale. A good sign…now just have to wait and see how well the cards are…hopefully an AFA Driller.

Anyone know how much I paid for my Panthro 8 back 1 1\2 years ago from an online store?..60 bucks. The minute one pops up on Ebay people will go insane. I feel bad for all the people trying to start their collections or continue theirs including myself because it seems like you have to have deep pockets in order to collect Thundercats

I believe that seller is a banned seller from Texas that was once IonIndustries. Hopefully it is not. They had some good stuff up for auction and not just Thundercats. I had bought something from them way back when and believe I still have the address in my archived emails. I was able to get my money back at least.

Kriz I will let you know how it goes with her. Hollaback is very friendly and prompt with emails (but just to be on the safe side i got insurance and a tracking number on mine). I believe she is based out of Las vegas not texas if I remember right (from paying). Im hoping this works out though
Manny/Jaga you are right in that I also feel bad for people just starting there collections and paying way too much for damaged/non mint items. There are so many sites out there that sell carded thundercats in better condition and for cheaper. Im going to have to start saving and maybe pick up a figure every few months now (unless I can get a good deal) in order to finish the other half of my collection
Same here I asked for insurance and she/he ships FedEx. Based out of Las Vegas, NV. So…it’s a gamble

I possibly have a similar Ben-Gali coming my way. North American card in a little better condition, except no name tag. Certainly nowhere near that price though.

Holy crap that is crazy for that Bengali. My 2 MOC Bengalis and my loose complete Bengali and loose complete Playful Bengali didnt cost that much combined. 600 dollars is crazy
As for the auction with hollaback. Im going to email her again tomorrow, Im not worried yet I’ll give it another week then I’ll be worried. Then ill talk to Ebay and the post office and see if anything can be done about it (maybe get her charged with mail fraud or something)
Ebay has become a haven for crooks and thieves…people know that Thundercats are red hot and are taking advantage of it. I mentioned in an earlier post different red flags about this seller but it seems like nobody paid any attention. 0 feedback and only wanting Money Orders as a form of payment are 2 big red flags. For those that had transactions with hallaback you may be in for a long fight to get your money back. I cant stress enough to do your homeowrk before dumping hundreds of dollars on an item. Look at the feedback…actually read it and check for feedback from buyers. If there is none that should raise some flags on your end. Is it really worth it to buy something from a 0 feedback because most likely it will sell for a lower price? Its a big risk i’m not willing to take.
