I don’t want to open the link because my computer is running slower than normal tonight. Can you post what it basically says? Is this a movie or a new tv series? It sounds like a really weird idea.
It’s for a comic. IDW publishes both Doctor Who and Star Trek comics and for the first time ever, the two franchises are finally going to collide in a crossover. Specfically, the Eleventh Doctor and The Next Generation crew.
This has been a long time coming. There have been crossover attempts with Doctor Who and Star Trek before, but nothing this official. The closest we got was the novel, The Doctor and the Enterprise published in 1982, in which Tom Baker’s Doctor met up with the TOS-era crew. Worth looking for if you’re interested.
I should point out that the villains for this crossover are the Borg and the Cybermen.
It’s making me think of the Traveler on TNG, although he didn’t need a phone booth to get around in like Dr. Who.

I saw something briefly about this the other day - whilst this would excite me more if the story involved the Tenth Doctor (MY Doctor, LOL!), nevertheless I’m excited to read this crossover, great to see them doing it!
