Do you think there will be a Sabretank play set in the near future?

Perhaps part of wave 3? If there is, I think it should:

a) attach to the Thundertank somehow, solidly enough that it doesn’t fall apart when you roll it along the floor, but can detach as a mobile base of operations too, rather than come with a whole new tank.

b) be BIG! and fit in scale with the tank and figures. I mean they are supposed to LIVE in this thing, right? The tank was way too small in scale. You should have been able to fit at least one figure in the hold!

c) hold at least two of the cats.

d) Just be awesome!

Nice idea! i’d certainly like an add-on to the already existing Thundertank! You already know Michael that i am a a big fan of this New Thundertank vehicle from Bandai and look forward to attachments bettering it;)

I recently purchased my second thunderacer with Lion-O and they look great Michael!

i’ve pretty much covered most of Wave 1. Too bad we’ll have to be patient until autumn for Wave 2…

Who said the kids aren’t buying them? Are you still basing thid on hearsay because as far as I know noone can find official sales statistics? They seem to be selling quite well here in the UK so I’ll stay optimistic.

I think the tank was ok and generally well recieved. Yes a lot of people thought it should have been a lot bigger and more solid, myself included, but I think on the whole it was still a great toy. Ill give you the tower, because quite frankly it was crap and everyone could see it, kids aren’t stupid now and they expected something better (I mean look at the new tmnt lair!) so yes, I don’t think the tower was well received.

So hopefully they’ll pull their finger out for future playsets. The better they make them, the better they will be received.

I got the Storm Charger a couple days ago, and it’s pretty cool, too. I like how the mummy-form Mumm-Ra has red lights coming out of his hands like the magic red lightning when you hook him in, and how if he’s in it, the red lights make the eyes glow. I agree about the Tower, though. It’s not a very appealing playset. I like the invisible Tygra, but it’s one of those things where if I could buy him separate, I would’ve, and ignored the tower itself.
