Do you own a Tongue-A-Saurus?

If I am remembering correctly Manny used CollectorSourceGrading but I could be wrong as I really haven’t been an active member in a long time

Hi mate, I’ve got some experience with UKG. I got my Rainbow Ben gali, Mumm-ra mailer and thunderwings graded by them. They did a really good job. Same quality of grading as the AFA and a good alternative for europeans. They are less expensive and the risk your toys get lost or damaged is negligible. The communication is excellent and the handling time is much shorter than AFA. I think Liardice and Pauly also have used their services in the past.

Cheers, do you mind me asking what it cost you in total to get the carded figure done? I think AFA charge $80. How quick a turn around was it. Thanks

Also how did you score?

The $80 AFA option is the Archival case and I think 1 week back to you…there are cheaper slower options

Here’s the price list

I think it is more interesting if you live in europe because the shipping rates are much lower than you live in the states or elsewhere.
Last time i shipped a box with 10 mocs and loose figures. I got them back within the month.
Ben-gali = UKG85 with 4 stars rarity
Mumm-ra = UKG85 with 2 stars rarity
Thunderwings = UKG85 with 2 stars rarity

I hope to post my next load somewhere next week
In case you need some pics, no problem!

You can now get a standard MOC done for $40 - takes 60 days to get back though:eek:

MIB Tongue-A-Saurus, has been opened but never removed from the cardboard inlays or plastic wrapping. As complete as can be.

I’ve always felt that the Tongue-A-Saurus is one of those “must-have” items for my collection, so

MIB here

I could use some advice

I have a tongue-a-saurus and the box, but no inserts. The tongue-a-saurus is in fine condition minus a couple small paint chips on the teeth. I didn’t really play with it as a child because I wasn’t really into Thundercats so now that its a collectible it should be in someone’s hands that appreciates it. Unfortunately I also have some pretty crazy medical bills so I really could stand to make a little money off of it. In a previous life I just would have donated it to charity. Should I go through e-bay or is there another, better way to manage the sale. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

eBay would be the best route, best exposure, etc.

Thanks for your input

I figured that would be the case, but I really appreciate the input from someone who actually knows something about these things.

Loose Tongue-A-Saurus

Hi all, I’m new to this forum, just want to say Hi to everyone - I’m a lifelong T-cats fan and love this forum.

I have a loose Tongue-A-Saurus, fully working, in great condition (all original) from when I was a kid, I loved it to bits, but I have some financial strains at the minute and am looking to re-home him.

Whats the best procedure in this instance? Can people make me offers through the forum or shall I just list on evilbay?? I want it to be looked after and loved like I have over the years…

thanks all,

B

Hi mate, welcome! I would say, make a selling thread in the marketplace section with your price and wait …

Tongue-A-Saurus is loose

Just got my Tongue-A-Saurus. Attached are pictures:

Great Thread!!

I just got my first loose Tongue-A-Saurus and i must say i love this toy monster :wilykat:.

It is in a C8 and fully working. I have another loose one in it’s way and as soon as i have it, i will take pictures of both of them.

I’m a Thundercats casual collector and the Tongue-A-Saurus was the most wanted toy from the vintage line along with Pumyra :pumyrahappy:.

It will be a mystery forever on how many Tongue-A-Saurus were made. I won’t try to guess it, but that doesn’t change the fact that the Tongue-A-Saurus is an awesome weird toy monster :).

Yes, yes I do.
