I guess I’ll pose the question since I’m curious. I’ve seen mostly positive comments towards the new series, but now it’s time to put it the vote!

As far as from what we have seen of WBTC’s I’m kinda 50 50 on the fence so far. I do need to see more.
Whether the new show and toys thrill me or dissapoint me, I will still always be a fan of the classics.
The new designs are fine… except for Cheetara, but the other are fine.
Of course, much depends on how they are used, the context, and how they actually look on the screen.
But so far, I liked what few we’ve seen.
At first I was excited. Now I dunno really. Panthro’s hair looks like a stereo-typical ‘anime attribute’. Tygra having a gun takes away so much from the character, its too ‘violent’ for a Tcat IMO. I don’t like the ‘little girl’ look Cheetara has. Only one I’m fine with is Lion-O. At this point I’m just gonna wait and see.
Weird Manny, I’ve been reading mostly “ehh” on the character designs. I mean that by if you’re grouping them all together. Most posts I’ve seen have an issues with at least one of the designs of the new characters. Seeing a lot of people not liking Panthro’s sideburns, and some people not liking Cheetara’s look or Lion-O’s hair (though not as many as not liking Panthro’s hair).
I’ve also been reading a lot of positive on Tygra though. He seems to be getting the most love as far as the redesign goes, and I’m in that same boat.
While I do like the new Tygra, it isn’t even close for me as far as the redesigns vs. the classics.

That’s weird! I know people have issues with Panthro’s sideburns, but the majority of the comments I’ve read are overall optimistic about the designs. I think many were happy that they could point to the character and recognize who they are.
I have always been open to bringing the ThunderCats back in different ways, because I know in order for the franchise to stay in the mainstream media, it must constantly reinvent itself. We will always have the original series, but we need to separate the new and old if we want ThunderCats to stay in the mindset of kids today and in the future.
As long as the ThunderCats stays true to its roots, which I believe this new series will do, then I have no problem letting Warner Bros. take risks on the designs, such as Panthro’s sideburns 
Also just as a final note - the fact that they did NOT change the Sword of Omens design shows me that WB knows what it is doing. They know that the design is very iconic and to change something like the sword and the logo (which also has stayed mostly unchanged), would be suicide.
I have more to say about that, but I will share that in due time 
I can’t really cement my opinion unless I see the characters in action, but I am overall happy with the new look.
As Manny already mentioned, they had to make the necessary changes in order to stand out from the classic design, besides they also have merchandising to think about. More variety with the design, more room for both old and new design to have a different line of collectibles.

I like them, if I wanted the old toys I would go to ebay…which I do but you get what I mean :).
Just wanted to say hey and that I am very excited for the new series. Im not a huge anime fan or anything, but I do love some Thundercats, so yes, I am excited!
I fall into the group of “depends which character”. Some things have me excited, some things have me worried. So overall, I guess I am one of those who needs to see more.
It’s too early to judge but so far I’m very excited… and I was excited from the very first moment
I love the new designs.. Just not the figures
I went with not sure yet. I will always prefer the originals but I am ready to see the new ones in action.
I know this is a new cartoon for a new generation and all but I still think they could have updated the characters much like they did in the 2002 MOTU cartoon. I think they should have at least kept the color keys for each character but slight toned down and modified their costumes slightly (kind of like the updated sword of omens) I think the urgency to make the characters their own by such drastic changes is a bit premature as its usually the personalities that make any character interesting or boring. I think the costumes are just ok at best but I’m hoping the cartoon makes up for the lack of a better acceptance in this new thundercat series.
I’m very pleased with the new look. And I also think the new changes will eventually grow on all of us. At first I wasn’t too sure about Panthro’s new look but it’s starting to grow on me the more I look at it. I’m a huge fan of several anime shows so I’m used to this.
Generally i am pleased with how things are going almost in every aspect but i want to see more…Lets see what the near future has in store for Thundercats
I want to see the Thundertank and the Tower of Omens in this new show.
The longer the show takes to launch the more nostalgic I get for the old one, so I would have prefered a design like this for a new show:
