As you may have heard this morning, Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and Bandai America Incorporated have announced a new partnership, with Bandai becoming global master toy licensee for the pop culture favorite, ThunderCats. Bandai will create and distribute products worldwide that complement the classic brand property as well as Cartoon Network’s fresh take on the animated series, with new television episodes set to air in 2011.
Below please find the joint release that WBCP and Bandai America issued this morning announcing this partnership. The release includes some additional detail on the all-new animated series that is currently in production at Warner Bros. Animation.

It’s not from WBCP or WB. What I can make out, it’s a company that handles Bandai’s PR. I assumed it was forwarded to me as surely they would contact toys@ or admin@?

I’m a bit gutted since the email was sent right after the announcement and I just never know whether I’m coming or going. I’m gonna respond tomorrow and if someone has already replied it’s just too bad.
Yeah, I got one the day Bandai and WCP announced the partnership. Someone said not to post the full press release on the front page, so I just linked to it fro another website. I did a summary of it instead as was discussed.
Neil, I sent two e-mails I’ve used to introduce myself and the site to folks at WB and to Jerry at Pop Culture Shock. Hope they’re helpful, let me know if there is any other way you think I can help.

Well… I’ve wrote up my reply, but cannot send it I’d forgot my Tcats email address won’t send out email!
I’d have thought your SMTP settings should be the same as those for the outgoing mail of your regular e-mail account - for example, I’m with PlusNet, and my SMTP settings for outgoing mail on my ThunderCats Lair e-mail address is relay.plus.net. The same is true for all my other web-based e-mail accounts too.
To put that another way, I’d have thought that the outgoing mail for your TCL e-mail account should be whatever your ISP tells you to use - I must confess I’m no expert in this area but have learned all this from bitter experience, LOL!
Yeah, but my Sky email has nothing to do with my TCL email account. On my own website I use the same server to received and send email. I don’t understand why this site is different when both are hosted on Hostmonster.
I’ll try using my Sky smtp server…

Neil if you’d like to send me the e-mail address and your message I’d be happy to send it, and can introduce you to the right folks at Bandai and WB if I manage to get past the PR person.
Nope. Never got a reply to the email I sent. Although we should get the press releases etc… when they are ready to show prototypes to the public. I’m not sure there is anything we can do until they are ready to announce and display the new products.
