In some Thundercat artwork I’ve seen, some artists give the Thundercats vampire-like fangs. How do you feel about the idea personally?
Cats have canines so why can’t the Thundercats?

Although I accept that techically giving the ThunderCats those “fangs” makes them more accurate, I personally dislike them - I think they make the TCats look a lot more violent and bestial than they should actually look, I can’t describe it better than that!

I’ve actually drawn the “fangs” on the 'Cats and they look more of the mix of human/cat would be if they actually existed. They just have to be drawn a particular way, or they would look more “bestial” as Chris puts it. I would have to agree with Chris that in that way it would be too much. It’s just to find the balance.

Thundercats should have good strong canines (yes, I know they’re felines) 
but they should be friendly, smiling, happy teeth.

I personally like the idea of the Thundercats having fangs; being a catlike being and all, they would have to have them, right?
I’ve never drawn them with them myself, but I’m not against the idea if it’s done right.

I always prefferred the fangs, but it was Ed McGuiness’ art in the Wildstorm comic that sold me on the idea that fangs are the only way to draw Thundercats. For me, it’s not that they look scary, they just look more powerful. You know, like you can really “Hear the Roar” from a Thundercat with a real cat’s mouth. :lol:

I don’t like the fangs. I see them in the cover art of the DVD’s I own and they just look angry and menacing and somewhat evil, not at all a good embodiment of who these characters really are.
