Deluxe Grune variant/error figure

I hadn’t seen this posted on this site, i saw it on another thundercats site. it’s grune with a thundercats logo on the chest instead of the mummra logo. i think it’s pretty awesome, there’s been a few people that have seen this. when i first heard about this i went and checked my loose one and it’s correct but luckily (to me at least) i didnt open the one with the thundercats logo. did any of you find this one yet?

Haha. Nice. Sadly I didn’t know of this till I saw your post, so thanks for sharing! To make things even more sad for me in relation to this..the only Grune figure I’ve seen on the market is the one I bought. XD

I believe someone in the other forum said Bandai told them it was a factory error.

Not to mention that before Grune turned he was in a completely different outfit.

This is the Deluxe Figure, correct? The $15.00 one?

If anyone goes out looking for it, please see my thread in the TCat Marketplace as I would like to get 1-3 of them but none of the stores around me have them. Had I known about the error a week ago I could have checked a few TRU stores…

After searching and searching and searching I finally found 1, and only 1 in the wild. In fact, it is the only Grune (including non-misprints) I have found in the wild in about 3 weeks of hitting every TRU and Wal-Mart I could.

Has anyone even seen the deluxe figures at any store other than TRU? I’ve hit several Wal-Marts that had ThunderCats toys, but none even had pegs for the deluxe figures.

i think kmart is starting to get them in and is by far the cheapest at 11.99 for grune:liono

I’m letting everyone know who has a Grune:

Go get your Grune and hold him under a light. Tilt him 45 degrees and look at the chest symbol. Do you see the Thundercats symbol beneath the Mum-Ra symbol? It’s been painted over by the Thundercats symbol.

I noticed this one the Grune I have at home and another I found at TRU today.

Mine has the thundercats symbol, but I don’t mind much he’s still an awesome figure.

As in they took some of the misprints and just put the correct logo over top of the wrong one? Interesting.

i checked my loose grune and i could see the cats mouth on mine as well. so i’m guessing that ones with the symbol are actually an error unlike bandai said? i’m guessing that it’s even more rare than we think?

One arrive at my TRU yesterday so I nabbed him. Bought him and keeping him MIB since I already have an opened normal Grune. It always amuses me to see this kind of stuff.

Checked my loose Grune. And yes he does have the T-Cats symbol, seems like it was somewhat carved and then the Snake Symbol was painted over it.

i havent even seen grune anywhere but online, oh, guys these deluxe figures are 12.99 at target. but thats if your lucky enought to find them, i grabbed the only mumm-ra ive seen, and now that target is doomed to have the dredded deluxe duo of tygra and lion-o! i would love to have grune, i open all my 4 inchers, so hopefully i dont find the variant first!:liono
