Your not the only one who hopes Monkian’s design isn’t too different from the original.
I hope this isn’t the case but I have a sinking feeling that they will just one episode journey through the land of jackals and then the monkey kingdom and that will be it for the characters anyway. I hope not though.
Same here, but they were part of the core villains in the original, so I think they’ll show up more than once. My guess is that, while the ThunderCats make their allies, maybe Mumm-Ra, Slithe, and Grune make some too. The two sides each mass their own army.
yeah that could work. Monkian was one of my favorites so I hope they don’t change him too much and that he is a big part of the series.

i like the idea of giving the characters like jackleman and vultureman real names and to have them in use. in the old show, slithe had one, so did rataro, monkian is close, but i figure they named him that because monkeyman doesnt really fit a baddie, and they also show more of the lizard, monkey and jackle species, slith was the only one that didnt resemble his species i believe, so thats cool they are expanding in that regard, i cant wait to see the other mutants reimagined as the new animal villains! they are introducing the villains oddly, first grune, then slithe, then mumm-ra? then, driller. oh well, i thnk its moving along great, and keepings us wanting to see our old favorites is a great way to keep us watching, aswell as intorducing these characters to new fans tools! i can see them being called y their former names in a way like someone saying somthing like ‘’ your days are numbered jackleman’', and then he responds with ‘‘the names kaynar, remember it, cat!’’ you know what i mean!:slythe:
