Customs Sub-Section thread

As many of you know i have started the customs section. I will use a very simple layout that Neil pu together with the variations section. I think its the best way to go and its easy as well. Here is a sample:

I would like it if Matt could do a more in depth write up on his customs because eventually they all will be posted, and also it helps to fill in the white space that is viewable on the left. Any suggestions are welcomed

Yeah I can do that. Should I get into the paint’s I used or what?

Maybe a very brief process on how you did it and what paints used. Nothing too big just a brief explanation on the process of each. Most of them will be your customs so that makes it much easier

I finally got around to making out the writeup for the lunar lasher mummra. It’s in my misc ftp folder. Let me know if more needs to be added and if it is what your looking for and I will do the other ones.

Something like that will work out pretty good. If you used any sculpting materials you can note that as well. The Mumm-Ra page has been updated

Looking great Manny. I can try and photograph the customs Andrew sent me sometime. However I have been told I have to state that they were made when he was first dabbling in customizing :smiley: lol

What I’d love to see hosted is that amazing Inflamer custom on the site, to me that is one of the best custom made figures I have seen!

Neil it would be great if you could photograph those and let me know when I can get them. The inflamer is indeed an awesome custom and if I knew what parts to use I’d make one my self. The customs sub-section should be complete by the update.

Im sort of confused here does Neil have an inflamer in the mail? If so that’s awesome. I have pics of the inflamer if you guys want them

Do you have pictures of that Inflamer but the problem is getting permission from the owner. Im sure it could be posted as anonymous but I dont want to stirr any trouble if someone sees their work posted without their consent. If you know the person who has it then we can get an ok and work on making a page for it

I can try and track them down, as I dont know who it is. I’ll work on that over the next week or so

Manny the guy posted on the old board a while back stating that he would be honoured for us to showcase that figure on the site :slight_smile:

So we already have permission, though embarrassingly I’ve forgot his name. However I’m sure Andrew will definately know :wink:

If we have pictures then why not display it. I’d say lets go for and as far as writeup for it we can just put anonymous until the owner shows up

Ok, customs section is basically ready to go. All existing links should work allright now. The only thing I need to do is fix the Custom Main link on each page to redirect back to the main customs page. I will add Snowmeow and Mad Bubbler hopefully before the update. I know its a basic page and Im sure there are some technical faults but truthfully it is the best my knowledge could produce. If someone wants to do anything to the customs section to improve it then by all means, I know Im not a HTML guru but hopefully this should work. Next up will be the bootlegs section…
