Attached are pictures of my custom Thunderstrike vehicle. All in all, it cost me less than $50 for all of the parts, and I think it was well worth it. It is modeled after the way the vehicle appeared in the show and the unreleased LJN prototype. Overall, I believe it looks amazing. One of my favorite features is the fact that the side pods can separate from the main section just like in the show.
I also have a custom Feliner, Lunatacker, Vultureman’s Flying Machine, and Ice Runner as well as many other figures. Any feedback on this or the custom Mongor I posted last week would be appreciated.
The Thunderstrike took about four hours or so to make… when I had a week off I was working on it, my Feliner, and Lunatacker and split my time between the three.
Thanks for your comments… indeed the vehicle is a little bulky. I chose the particular base because the pods can split off like in the show.

Thanks as well for your kind words on my Thunderstrike and Mongor. I tried to base mine off the LJN prototype and the appearance from the actual show. I’m glad you like it, and I have plenty more customs to post when I get back home next month.
you have inspired me to make my own 80’s style feliner. will psot pics when im done. Does anyone have pics of the Cat Lair from new thundera. It is hard to find decent pics of the newer lair. I am trying to make my own custom. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
