Hello all,
Attached is a series of pictures of my custom Mongor; I believe he is my finest figures. He was my absolute favorite character in the show, and my real last name is Mongor. Over the upcoming months, I will be posting other customs from my collection. Honestly, I have nearly every figure that appeared in the show, and I even have some custom vehicles including a Luna-tacker, Feliner, and Thunderstrike.

Thanks for your comments… I’ve seen your customs before, and I believe that you are one of the best Thundercats customizers out there. My Mongor is made from the figure in the attached pictures; I don’t know its name. For the facial hair, I used the beard off of a Zeus (Curse of the Spawn series 13). It took a long time to sculpt the rest, but I think he turned out great.

Thanks man, kind words indeed. I love wip pics as I feel they really show the work that went into customs. Yours is great and really does let the casual onlooker see how much effort you put in. The base figure is a marvel legends omega red, not sure on the legs. I’ve been on a bit of a break from the cats myself been working on some heman stuff but I have something I’ve been waiting to post , should be ready by the end of the week.

Any chance you could maybe consider doing a custom of Plutar?
I would love to see him be turned into a figure.

I actually have a custom Plutar I made a few years ago along with a bunch of other figures and vehicles. Mongor is my personal favorite from the show (and it really is my last name) hence I put a lot of time into him. Feel free to send me a PM and I can send you pictures of some of my other customs.
